Hubby does like eggs, however how healthy are they? Aren't they linked to cholesterol (?). Due to genetics, hubby has slightly high cholesterol.
Keep those ideas coming - I am reading them all out to him!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Eggs are fine as long as it's not every day. I've read they don't really cause increased cholesterol BUT I'm not a doctor or nutritionist and so I'd advise wider reading on that oneOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

I enjoy a bowl of porridge made with three quarters of a mug of oats and a mug and a half of water, bring to the boil stirring intil it starts to 'pop'slightly with the heat and thickens up, and dish up.
I sprinkle a bit of salt on mine (Scots heritage) and also a little milk. 1 kilo of value oats from Mr Ts around 39p, lasts for ages.I stock up in the summer as when the weather gets cold the price of oats rises. Also use the oats in Twinks hobnobs0 -
My husband normally has cereal for breakfast. However, it is the one meal of the day he does not enjoy.
I think you need to find out why he does not enjoy breakfast.
Does he not like the cereal you are giving him, or is he just fed up with it and would like a change.
Does he want something different to cereal.
Does he actually want to eat breakfast, but just wants something different
Or does he not actually want to eat breakfast, but is just doing it because you make it for him?
I don't eat breakfast, well not as such. I can't eat anything until I've been up for at least 3 hours. I get up at 6.00am and eat nothing until at least 9.00am, but by then I can eat anything. It doesn't have to be breakfast, I'll happily eat a Sunday Dinner at that time.
I also know quite a few other people who say the can't eat breakfast.
PS. I ate breakfast when I was growing up, because it was put in front of me by my mum. I ate breakfast for the 20 years I was married, because my wife made it for me each morning. But the day the marriage ended was the day I stopped eating breakfast.0 -
