Soak some museli the night before in the fridge (just with your usual milk) in a tupperware container, then when you get to work just add some fresh fruit to it (raspberries, grated apple or pear, any other type of berry, sliced banana).0

Greek yoghurt or low fat plain yoghurt - chuck in some mixed nuts, a bit of runny honey and stir - yummy! You can also add as much fruit as you like - pieces of apple is particulary nice, banana is good too!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

Or, mix the muesli with a couple of dessert spoonsful of dried milk. When you get to work, just add water from the cooler/tap.0 -
Has anyone got any interesting ideas for breakfast?
I am well into porridge/granola/muesli for breakfast - but wondering what else I can have. I've recently discovered Amish Cold Soup - so thats one little idea (my version - broken-up bread, topped by soft fruit, then ice-cold milk or kefir) and obviously theres smoothies and freshly-made fruit juice. I like the Dutch idea of things like fruit bread, slices of suitably mild type cheese.
What else is there I can have?0 -

Hi there
I love this.... instead of normal porridge.... soak your normal quantity of porridge oats in milk..in the fridge overnight and then in the morning stir in fruit yogurt, (and berries if you have any).... i do this with the Tesco special oats with dried apple and sultanas... it something i saw in Switzerland years ago, and then it appeared on "you are what you eat".... i cant eat porridge cooked any more...its stunning... and you can vary it in soo many ways-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Favourite in our house is srambled eggs, wholemeal toast and orange juice. The eggs take as long as the toast in the microwave and you have an (almost) instant hot breakfast.
