on the days i go to the gym i take breakfast to work and recently have been making a low fat, low sugar but very delicious malt loaf type thing. i take 2 fair size wedges and its very filling if you want the recipe its:

    2 weetabix, crushed
    1 cup flour SR
    1 1/2 cups sultanas
a tablespoon sugar ( i use dark brown)
    1 or 2 mashed banannas
    1 cup of milk

mix it all up, bung in a lined loaf tin and bake for nearly an hour!!

this is really lovely and healthy (unless you spread it with butter :o ) but it really is good without
    - prior planning prevents poor performance!

Aututmn pear and nut or cheese and ham make nice breakfast choices.

  • How about a marmite and banana butty? Dead easy to make in the morning and no mess at your desk.

  • I am having this problem too, I am too bleary-eyed to eat in the morning. I sometimes make a smoothie the night before, leave it in the fridge and down it in the morning, but that is a bit organised!! If I don't take any food I end up spending a fortune on rubbish from the sandwich van.

I have joined the gym, and the guy there told me that if I want to lose weight I need to cut down on carbs, I'm really struggling with healthy breakfasts that don't include carbs, apart from fruit.

I've got into the habit of taking some fruit - banana and a couple of clementines is the flavour of the month at the mo

Also flapjacks, the only take about 20 minutes to cook

    Muffins
    Cookies
    Smoothies?
