Yep, sounds good to me. Try for a laptop or something. Something you can sell for £££'s on Ebay.
Oh god no - I was thinking about something in the range of about £12.50 because apparently that's acceptable!!

Sell it on ebay?! Don't be daft - too many scammers ;)

I agree, however negative feedback and low star ratings would have been appropriate.

Tell you what - Comet were a day late in delivering my new washing machine and cost me inconvenience - I'll just pop down their store and nick something in return! Sound ok to you?

Yeah, very clever, but you know I already admitted the lack of logic in my position!

Hmmm, £12.50. Maybe a nose hair trimmer or something then?

You can't sell laptops on eBay any more, not unless you want endless auctions ruined by Nigerian would-be scammers.

I was thinking about a memory card - probably easier to conceal than a hair trimmer. ;)

I am the opposite. I am a Ebay buyer.

I pay within minutes of winning the auction( literally ) . Never moan when it arrives and always give 5 star ratings. I only started at xmas and have bought quiet a bit but still only have a seven start rating. Why?

It really gets my goat when these super sellers can not be bothered to leave me good feedback.!
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A

If you are just a buyer then feedback doesn't mean anything. Forget about it and enjoy your buying experience.

I once saw a woman leave someone negative feedback because the shade of foundation (well known brand) didn't suit her skin. It was a new business seller too, felt so sorry for the guy

It sounds like you may be one of those eBay sellers who understands neither the law nor the postal system.

How about you actually find out what the facts are before assuming that I am "one of those" ebay sellers. Where exactly did I say that items didn't arrive & I tried to blame the seller? I know perfectly well what the law is thank you.
