Just out of curiosity, what happened to the right footed shoe or is it still in a box in the storage area of Sports Direct because the left shoe of the pair which was on display 'went missing'?
I used to work for a sports store, the other one had been stolen. Stuck it on ebay just to see if it would sell. Thought maybe a one legged person or someone who has lost or damaged a similar one might be interested.(Note: I did actually sell it in the end.)0 -
Lol some the replies are quite funny, lol the trainer is quite funny despite the listing being clear only 1 shoe was for sale. If thats how they are on ebay then i wonder what they are like in real life. Some people are just complete idiots and shouldn't be allowed to mingle with the rest of the population.0

I've had buyers demanding that I refund them 30p because the postage was slightly less than the P&P charges. I explain that the P&P includes postage AND packaging but they still demand their money back.
Never mind the fact that the 30p comes out of my pocket as eBay and Paypal have already taken their cut.
Another thing that gripes me is when I'm on eBay as a buyer and the seller doesn't update the purchase and/or takes an eternity to dispatch. Personally, unless there is a serious problem then I dispatch the same day or the next morning if the Post Office is closed. However, I am still waiting for 5 seperate items that I paid for 2 weeks ago to arrive.
In fact, I have purchases in my possession that still haven't been marked as dispatched on eBay.0 -

Recorded delivery is not insurance. All mail is automatically insured up to £46 anyway, and recorded delivery is absolutely no different in this regard. Recorded delivery is for items such as legal papers for which it may be necessary to prove receipt, it provides no extra guarantee over and above 1st class that an item will not get lost, and no extra compensation.
I haven't sold on eBay for ages but I always sent my stuff Recorded Delivery purely to stop a buyer claiming non-delivery."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
The last few things I've bought on eBay I haven't received feedback for depsite my leaving +ve feedback myself.
I've got a few hundred feedback myself so it's not crucial but I've really noticed recently that a lot of sellers just don't leave any feedback."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

I sold a used iPhone 3 a few weeks back. Sent it by regular post, as it wasn't worth much more than £46 (cracked screen, battered case etc). Although I did activate the "Find my iPhone" feature.
Fast forward two weeks, and the seller tries to claim their money back. Imagine his dismay when I emailed him a picture of the phone's location. In his house, or a neighbours. He apologised and said that his mrs had signed for it and not told him, but he'd just opened it and found it.
Curious as to how it was turned on and charged so I could locate it the previous day, then!
Too many chancers.
Also sold some laminate. Advertised as 1 pack of laminate flooring from floors to go, will cover 2.75sqm. How irate was the fella that bought it only to find out that 2.75 sqm for £12.50 wouldn't floor 275 square metres! Apparently he just thought that the decimal point was a mistake0 -

I think you are missing something - it just goes to show that someone, somewhere will buy any old rubbish that appears on ebay :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
