Going away with a mate sounds a [STRIKE]better[/STRIKE] more diplomatic idea than a singles holiday, HAW.

:eek: at the anti-MSE thought of buying garlic bread!
Did you miss it at dinner? ..Hooray for the NSD.

Can't think why I have the impression that your DH is not an observant man; needs a rocket up his backside to remind him not to take advantage of your good nature.
Going on holiday with someone else might just do the trick - fingers crossed.

To be honest I love my food too much to be too worried, but I do hear what you're saying. The fact that I'm aware that I do occasionally control my eating is a step in the right direction.
I am keeping an eye on my weight (I fluctuate! :rotfl:), and my BMI is fine, but I promise I will keep an eye on things.

Amazingly enough, OH mentioned about us going away last night to the girls :eek::j
Had a look on teletext and could prob get something reasonable there too. But yes, my other option is going with a friend :D

Managed 3 NSDs this week. Spending today and possibly most of the weekend

I'm off tomorrow (:j) and heading to visit my friend for the night. Really can't wait coz I don't see her very often any more since changing home/jobs and getting rid of the car Girlie night - woohooooo!!!!

Out for dinner Sat night with OH to celebrate 2 years together Was sposed to be dinner and drinks, but he's complaining about having spent too much last Saturday (keep in mind that I didn't want to go drinking last Sat coz we are going out this week, keep in mind he spent £60 on drinks for us both (which is what he's complaining about) and keep in mind he spent £3k on a bike on Sat morning)

Hmmmmm ....

Anyway. I'm not letting it get to me coz we did have a good night out. Def things are going well at the minute so long may it continue

I really did! Weather was absolutely gorgeous! Def picked a good weekend for it! :cool: We sat outside Fri afternoon and chatted, while the kids played in/out of the (£3!) paddling pool! Got to spend time after dinner with PlayMobil and the Wii Read bedtime stories, then sat to midnight with my friend chatting and drinking Bulmers!

Sat morning was nice and chilled out. We went to a fun fair so the kids got to go on bouncy castles and the like, had a big fat greasy burger and yummy icecream, then headed home on the train. Def a brilliant weekend Don't see enough of my friend unfortunately (life gets in the way a lot!) but I know she's always at the other end of the phone if I need her

Saturday night went out for dinner with OH. Really scrummy meal, then on to our usual cafe. Sat outside and watched the sun go down. Was a really good wee night

Yesterday was pretty chilled out too. In a very hot, sunny, sticky sort of way! Took the girls to Portrush after tea last night for coffees/hot chocolate, then went a walk round the arcadia. Was a lovely evening

Got a little bit of sun over the 3 days, so have turned a nice healthy shade of pink... which will have faded in about 48 hours likely

Hoping to get out on the bike later with OH for a wee skoot. We're 2 years today and I want to go to one of 'our' places. Monday is always a busy day for OH and he'll be wrecked, so will have to see how things go later...

After such a good start, I've been absolutely hopeless with NSDs over the weekend. To be expected right enough Have to get the head screwed back on again asap!
Have a bundle of birthdays coming up in the next 3 months, so have a long list of cards I need to get. Will try Card Land or similar likely as there's no need to be spending loads!

No idea about the holiday. Was only mentioned once over the weekend by OH, who was, yet again, giving off about the timing of my leave. If I could I'd change it, but I can't!! :mad:

Have my NVQ class this afternoon and have to do a short presentation :eek: Guess we'll soon know how well I can bluff!! :rotfl:

I have caught up at last. Had no internet until today thanks to lovely DH using up the remainder of our allowance and a bit besides, costing me a fortune & leaving me MSE-less apart from on my phone which drives me bonkers!

Have had that problem recently myself with the internet - we had 5GB on the MiFi and it came to the point we were zipping through it in less than a week :eek: Had to just tell the girls 'tough' on internet until billing date. What bugged me so much was the fact that I was paying for the thing but not getting to use it! :mad:
Have upped to 15GB but haven't let on to the girls so they still be a bit more careful on their usage!! :)

OH wide awake (!!) yesterday so we went out on the bike last night to 'our' place as hoped for! Packed a flask and coffee for us too! Have to say though, I've never drunk a cuppa coffee so quick - it was :eek: freezing!! We were away again in no time! Who says romance is dead?! :rotfl:

Holiday... *sigh* We've already been chatting about changing the kitchen in a couple of years time, but last night both of us were getting shocks off the cooker!! :eek: I'd get one every now and again, but last night had me scared to touch anything (just an excuse to make OH cook dinner really ) So we'll be forking out for a new cooker sooner rather than later, if not the entire kitchen.
Which I'll take a guess and say our holiday will go to pot
And I'll also take a guess to say he'll still be looking to go on his biking trip.
I will not be impressed if that's the case. I will go on my own if need be. No prizes for guessing the topic of conversation at the dinner table tonight!!
