Thankfully I don't have to do any gardening - OH does all that. Have to say it looks wellAnd the 2 wee trees planted in Feb time, apple and plum I think, are sprouting/flowering!!
Just somehow need to get rid of the slugs  They seem to like our flowers a tad tooooo much!!(Am a teeny bit jealous; it's been years since I went to a bike race).
If I can ever get myself organised enough, I'll try to get one of the videos uploaded onto YouTube for you for a nosey. Not that there's much to see considering the bikes are just whizzing past!Hope it stays dry for the fireworks, and that you have a great weekend!
Thanks RobinI did have a good weekend. And it stayed dry! :j Portstewart was seriously packed! But lovely to see the crowds too

I read your diary update! Glad it went well yesterday:) Well done to DH and DS1 :T Thankfully dry for you but unfortunately the ground still saturated from Saturday
Typical!

:eek::eek:
Can't believe I just done that!!
Was at the Post Office for OH before lunch and they had the 'Sweets for Life' bags for Barnardos at the counter. Bought a bag of fruit and nut with choc coating. Have eaten the FULL bag of sweets in about 5 mins flat!! And that was after my sandwiches and all
EDIT:
So, needless to say I have a serious problem with snacking at work!!
Dunno what the solution would be, other than smaller portions in a multi-pack!?! :rotfl:
Bought mints at lunchtime in the hope that they'll keep me from overdosing on junk food. No I'm not saying they're healthy either but a couple of those instead of a full bag of something else should be an improvement. Have also bought yoghurts and Oddities to try them out!
Oh! Got Tesco clubcard vouchers at the weekend, and it included a £2.60 voucher off Bacardi 70cl. Which has already got £3.50 off rrp of £17. So got the bottle for £11.40! Bargain! That's the next night in/out drinks sorted!:D

Och I wouldn't worry about the Barnardos sweets - sure they count as a 5 a day

Reminds me on a mug a friend bought me years ago...
:rotfl:
Unix - finally got my Boots vouchers so got my straighteners :j Got these ones. I think the Argan Oil bit is just a load of bunkum, but never mind! If they last as long as my previous Remingtons I'll be more than happy!!
Currently munching on a bag of dates! Huge bag so really gotta stop eating and put the bag awaySooooo tasty though!!
Not doing so good with the spending/not spending this month. I'm doing well with my NSDs, but the days I am spending, I seem to be spending huge amountsPlus hoping to go on holiday in the summer with OH so I should be saving for that!!
Seriously - is it still only Tuesday!?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Was anything decided about the holiday? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

OH asked the girls again the other night, and they both said 'no'.
I know not everyone will agree with our decision, but OH and me will go anyway. Don't get me wrong, we're not gonna be jetting off on a 1 month round-the-world trip or anything. We figure max 7 days away. Even 5 would be ok!
I'm off a week and a half in July so I have suggested that on some of the other days that we're all off, we just do day trips or something
It would be great if the girls wanted to come and we could have a proper family holiday, but in a way I think me and OH need the break ourselves tooIt sounds awful me saying that and I'm nearly crying as I type, but I've been struggling on and off and things have been difficult. So hard to know what to do

Its hard isnt it. Its important you and DH have a break and enjoyit. xTrying to shift that debt!0

Hey, you've extended the invite and they've refused of their own free will. That doesn't make you bad people of you go alone. I agree it will actually be good to get some time just the 2 of you. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
