Hope so! It's an early start - will have to leave the house at about 6.15am to get to the airport on time. That's the only part I'm not looking forward to

Off to Glasgow in the morning! So excited!! My friend has offered to pick me up at the airport so that saves both time and hassle for buses and trains! I've told her I'd like to treat them all to a meal out somewhere, their choice. Basically just to say 'thanks' for hosting! Other than that I shouldn't have many more spends over the weekend...

...which is good because I'm still 5 off my target of 12 NSDs in April! There's only 5 days left and I know I'll be spending at least 1 of those days (as above!). Hoping to get one today which will be a good start!

Got our new washing machine all sorted! Haven't actually got around to trying it out yet right enough. The instruction manual was our bedtime story the other night!! ha ha

Have set up a justgiving page for my 9 mile walk Not making a big deal of it seeing as it is only a walk. Would be different if I was actually running the marathon. Another year maybe... But yeah. Any money helps

Who ever would've thought I'd get so excited about a new washing machine?! :rotfl: Honestly though! It's fab! Sooo quiet and there's soooo much room!! lol

Anyway...

Had a FAB weekend in Glasgow! Was really great to catch up with my friend and spend time with her and the family! The girls are growing up so fast :eek: Much as it was nice to get away from the 'norm' (OH and the girls ), it was nice getting home again too! And I actually missed the girls a lot more than I thought I would've! It kinda shocked me, but in a good way! I guess it just shows exactly how I do feel about them

Had set myself a budget for the weekend, which included taking my friend and family out for dinner (Frankie and Benny's as usual!), plus came home with some change, so I'm pleased with that!

Managed a NSD at the weekend plus yesterday, which gives me a total of 10/12 for April! Not bad considering the crap start I got off to Aiming for the same in May again too.

Hopefully not too busy a week ahead for me. I could do with an easy one Zumba on Thursday then hopefully get out for a practise walk on Saturday, then the big official 9 mile walk is on Monday! :eek: Have raised over £45 for Cancer Focus already. It's not loads but every little helps!

thats brilliant, weekend sounds fab!
I am doing the three peaks challenge in August so have a few months to train, I never walk so its going to be a massive challenge for me!

Yes started walking yesterday, and going to aim to do a 2 hour walk this weekend!!! Yes fundraising to! Hope I can manage it!xx
