Hey all

(mary hinge: nosey is fine!! :rotfl: My boss is lovely coz she let me away 1+1/2 hours early on Friday!!! :j:j)

Hope you had a fab long weekend!! Was tough getting out of bed this morning I have to admit!

I've been spending like money is going out of fashion but had a brilliant weekend so not gonna feel guilty about a penny of it!!

Friday night was girlie night and chick flick so treated my friend to a chinese as she normally cooks for me!!

Saturday had coffee out with OH. Visited my SIL for a blether. Another chinese (:eek:) which OH paid for!!

Sunday went for a wee drive round the Ports - which were JAM packed like nothing normal!

Monday had a fairly lazy day, except for my workout DVD!! :eek:

Yesterday me and OH went for a 6+ mile walk! Started off near Bushmills, over to Giants Causeway, round the coast past Runkerry house, along the beach, then back to the car. Perfect weather - sun was shining, but there was still a kinda cool breeze. Finished off the walk with coffee from a flask and a fish supper!! :D Both of us flaked out at about 10pm in front of the tv :rotfl:
Absolutely brilliant day(s) with OH :happyhear Happy memories!

Feeling really happy with myself and with life at the minute. Yes, OH had to 'talk' to me the other day as I was getting myself down. I was focussing on what I felt I was missing out on, rather than what I've actually got right here. Needless to say the convo finished with a big smile Gotta see the positives!!

Have just signed up to do a 9 mile walk as part of the Belfast Marathon. Feeling a combination of :j and :eek: but more :j thankfully!!! lol

Noseying about online and came across the Nationwide FlexDirect current account which gives 5% interest - so have applied and been accepted!!

Life is good :D

Made gingerbread men with DD3 last night (kinda cheated - used this pack! )



Well impressed with our first attempt and the bonus was that they were yummy!!! :D

Friday today :j Blue skies and sun is shining :cool:

Need to organise when me and my friend are gonna practise our 9 mile walk!! :eek: Only a month to go!!!

I love walking so looking forward to it But need to practise for the longer walk! Was a 6ish mile [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE] hike me and OH did last week and I didn't even really think about it. 9 miles should be a doddle but I don't want to assume!

Walking should be easier for you now in the lighter evenings and coming into the warmer weather (I say 'warmer weather' but I actually mean 'April to September'. The temperature hasn't really improved much!! )

I'm good! Had an enjoyable weekend again but not so MSE

Was out on Saturday night with OH for dinner, but he paid for dinner (:j) and I was driving so I was a cheap date :rotfl:

Yesterday was a lovely day so went with OH and DD2 to Portstewart for a coffee (or hot choc in DD2s case!) DD1 and 3 didn't want to come. Sat and watched girlie films last night coz OH was away to his mates house to watch the Moto GP.

Treated myself to 'nice' shampoo again! Really shouldn't make a habit of this!! Also treated myself to a perfume/lotion gift set. LONG overdue coz I ran out of the perfume before Christmas. Really miss it so decided to bite the bullet!! Should be here in a few days :j

No more buying 'nice' stuff for me til May I think! That's enough treats for April! Plus I really need to get more NSDs in!!
