lol
I'm sure that was... ummm... fun... for you PLMBL!
;)
Managed NSD #2 yesterday and so far on track for #3 today :j
Gonna try my hardest to stick to budget this month. I'm going to visit my friend in Glasgow at the end of the month, but guessing that other than maybe treating to a lunch/dinner out or something, I shouldn't really need to be spending any money. Here's hoping anyway!!
All else going well I think, although feeling a bit rough todayCan't stop sneezing and my nose and eyes are streaming. On top of that my right ear has blocked again so I've a constant ringing sound plus my head keeps going all woozy on me making me feel unbalanced and sick!
Not pretty!!!!
I think an easy/chilled evening and early night is in order!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Got my #3 yesterday :j
Still not feeling quite right todayMy friend did comment this morning on how pale I was yesterday, and I pointed out that I'd even put fake tan on my face too  Must have been a lot lot worse than I thought!!
Supposed to have Zumba tonight but will see how I feel. I don't want to overdo it and end up passing out! :rotfl: My concession pass can be used whenever so I won't lose out on the money I've already paid for it thankfully.
Weighed myself yesterday as I was wondering if I'd lost more weight and maybe that was part of the problem. Was actually the opposite! Have put on 1kg in about 3 weeks. Not entirely sure how I feel about that. Know I'm def not looking to lose weight, but I'm happy with my body at the minute. OH is the one who thinks I'm too skinnyHe asked last night what weight I was and was able to say I'd put on some, so that reassured him. He's worried now obviously with the 9 mile walk coming up. In saying that, I'm not doing any more exercise now than before: still walk to/from work, still Zumba on a Thursday, and DVD on a Monday usually. If I do go out for a walk/run to practise for the marathon, it will generally be in place of the DVD, not as well as.
Things ok at home but feelingfor OH DDs! Drama a few weeks ago with their mum and DD1 and DD3 refused to see her (DD2 was ok with it all and went on as normal). Eventually after about a month they started to go back out to their nans again. Less than 2 weeks later, on Tuesday, I get a text from DD3 saying 'mums on the drink again'
Apparently things were really bad on Tuesday (embarrassment and shouting) and their mum was sent away again.
Last night I was talking to DD3 about it, how she felt etc., and she said 'I'm not going to see her again. She's not my mum':(
Not much I can say to that really. It's always up to the girls themselves if they want to see their mum or not. I'll just be my usual shoulder for the girls if and when they need me
(PS. Sorry for all thetoday!)

:) (I'm an unofficial stepmum btw!!)
I do try to see myself as a stable female adult figure in their lives, something I think they've been seriously lacking. I try to be as understanding as I possibly can be. There are times when they're hurt/angry/disappointed/upset and take it out on each other, their dad or even me. But I know they gotta getting their emotions out of their system in some way, even if it's not always directed at the 'right' person (if that makes sense!).
I [STRIKE]think[/STRIKE] hope that me just being there for them helps, even if I am sometimes just a sounding board!!
Plus there's always oodles and oodles of love and hugs available from me tooWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -

Aaw that is so sweet! Never actually thought on it like that. You're an :A for pointing that out!please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »Ps, the sickness and weight gain aren't baby related are they??!!Ha ha ha you're funny!!!
Not!! lolI know it was the running on Tuesday that made me feel ill. The weight gain is due to the amount of food I eat. And I'm eating for 1 before you suggest anything otherwise!!!
My weight is a topic of [STRIKE]debate[/STRIKE] discussion between me and OH these days anyway!
EDIT:
Just got my latest 'treat' delivered: 212 Sexy gift set:D:D

Happy Monday
Busy enough weekend but good! Got in an overdue visit to mum and dadBit of chilling out. Bit of stuffing my face with junk food. Bit of overspending (essentials mostly!) Was enjoyable though
Went for a 6 mile walk yesterday with my friend: 1 hr and 22 mins!!:j We were well chuffed with ourselves! Kept up a very good pace all the way. No slacking allowed!! lol. 9 miles next Sunday to look forward to!!
Best bit? Got to cook OH [STRIKE]his[/STRIKE] our favourite meal: ginger pork and dauphinoise potatoes
He came into the kitchen to see if I needed a hand. Told him no, and said that I love cooking for him. Esp this meal!He commented on how he loved me cooking for him too! It's really just been him and the girls for so long (even when he was married
) that it was always him doing the cooking. Nice to spoil him
