Wow! What a busy week!!! How is everyone?

Can't believe so much time has passed! Lemme see what I've been up to....

Saturday went for a coffee with OH then did a 4 mile practice walk with my friend.

Sunday went to see Iron Man 3 with OH - absolutely brilliant film!! :D

Monday was the Belfast Marathon! :D Me and my friend completed the 9 mile walk in about 1 hour 50 mins! :j:j I'm really pleased with how speedy we were ;) Managed to raise over £130 so far for Cancer Focus :D
The atmosphere in Belfast was amazing, and I actually got quite emotional a few times! :o It was great to be part of something so huge! Massive well done to everyone involved! :T:T

OH and the girls met me after the walk and we headed on to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. Was a good day but I was kinda beat after the walking in the morning :p

Think I got a bit of the 'running bug' too!! Went out for a run last night. Ok yeah it was only 15 mins (just under 2 miles) but still!!!!!

Completed a massive survey through Valued Opinions about a week ago and got my £25 incentive through :D:D Already had a few ££ in my account so claimed 2x £10 Boots vouchers and 1x £10 Dorothy Perkins voucher :) Got my eye on a pair of straighteners in Boots so will treat myself as mine are on their way out! :D

What has everyone else been up to? Did you manage your walk amy?

    I'm good thank you :) Glad it's Friday!! ;)

Waiting on my Boots vouchers coming in the post. Checked in the local store and they have the ones I want :) They're £79.99 down to £39.99, and I've £20 of vouchers. I've also got just over £19 in Boots points too! Trying to decide now if I should spend my points along with my vouchers, or pay cash and get bonus points. What to do....

Oh. Guess that's my question answered...
Points can't be used as a part payment so you'll need to have enough points on your card to cover at least one of the items you're buying

Worked out I should get just over £5 worth of more points as I've 2 vouchers: double points and an extra 200 points when I spend £20 :D
Must check advantage kiosk too when I go in to purchase.
Or any idea when their next big weekend is for the 10 points per ££??

  • Hi HAW hope you are ok - I admit to being bamboozled in boots as the offers and combination offers are beyond me....

    Have subscribed x

You are ever-so welcome Skint but Optimistic :D:D Thanks for stopping by!!

Yeah the offers thing makes me go a tad emo51.gif sometimes! Apparently their 'bonus' points offers cancel out their standard 4 for £1 points, rather than getting the both! Sometimes anyway. I don't get it :o

    Hello diary!

Had a quiet weekend. Saturday was the first night me and OH were in the house on our own!! :) So, party animals that we are, we both fell asleep in front of the tv :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Managed NSD #6 today - half way through the month and half way to target! :j

Was on a 12 month SIM only deal with O2, and was allowed to upgrade after 11 months. So for an extra £0.50 a month I've got an extra 150mb data :D PLUS I went through TopCashBack and I'll be getting £50.50 :j:j

Unix - Still waiting on my Boots vouchers so I can get my straighteners :p Why I picked a £10 DP instead of another £10 Boots voucher I will never know! :o Guess I wasn't thinking straight (pardon the pun :rotfl:)

Tuesday today. Looking forward to Thursday - have booked the day off so I can go with OH to watch motorbikes all day at the NW200 :D (what was I thinking?!?!?)

Stupidly (apparently!) bought furniture from Harveys on Sunday, but we need to return it coz it's really not good quality at all. All the pre-drilled holes are misaligned so it took a heck of a lot of forcing to get it together. We're not happy. Have a feeling though that the store are gonna just fob us off :( Trying to prepare ourselves as much as possible, but I'm not au fait with stuff like that so go quiet! :o Any help would be great!!!!! :)

Relisted a few things on ebay at the weekend but not holding my breath :p We shall see!!

Managed a 2 mile run on Sunday night and last night again :D Kinda beat by the end of it but sure! Practise makes perfect!! lol :) Will miss Zumba this week coz I'm going to the NW200 instead. Maybe get some other exercise in instead... Have you been out walking again amy?

Just read your most recent post in your diary PLMBL! Love S vs S - will I be keeping an eye out for you?! lol ;):)

Hope everyone has had a good start to the week :D
