Just off Chat with "an Ulster Bank Advisor" - transactions are being applied in "batches" with NO date order -they have been given no information either!
Unbelievable! So glad Iam EX staff (from the days of ledgers and handposting - maybe there's something to be said for the old days!)0 -
AND Now you can't even speak to anyone in the fekkin bank as they're "Having issues with their telephone lines" ....0

Northern Ireland customers at the back of the queue - again...
Yes - can you imagine if Natwest in England was still experiencing problems like Ulster Bank is? It would be headline news every night, reported as a massive crisis and we'd be seeing parliamentary statements and a commission of enquiry set up.
As it is, the problems in their Irish subsidiary barely warrant a mention.
Lots of customers over the border too of course and I see the media there is being a lot less restrained in reporting the severity of the problem and making criticism. Plus the Irish Central Bank are making threatening noises about Ulster Bank having to offer compensation. If only the UK banking authorities would show the same level of concern about the situation as they are in a position to actually force the pace, what with the RBS group being state owned.0 -
Anyone have problems with their Ulster Bank mortgage? Mine was to come out on Monday and still not out of my santander account. Telephoned the mortgage centre yesterday and got through to Dublin!!! She told me she had got through to the mortgage centre in Belfast and their computers were down until Monday! and call back then as they weren't doing call backs0

My wife seems to be up to date now. 3 sets of tax credits, 2 wages and 1 child benefit. I however am still on the 20th, hard to see what way they are doing this.0

Had my mortgage payment shown taken out on 27th at the start of this week, now it has disappeared, although Santander said they received it ok!!!
Business account still not showing credits from as far back as the 23rd:mad:0 -
Just looked at my account & it's showing I'm £41 overdrawn!..but when I add up the money I've taken out it shows me in credit,so I called Ulster bank who told me to ignore the balance as that's innacurate & the online bankings not working properly.
They really dont have a scooby what the hell is going on!0 -
Spike7451 transaction updates are a week out of date, with the exception of your fast credits and ATM withdrawals.
You obviously have been keeping a close eye on what your balance should be. This is what you want your U Bank account to end up reflecting, so be patient.
The only thing you have to watch out for in the interim is double debits going out of your account, as they update your account. Then you will need to bring these to the bank's attention for resolving.0 -
Account transactions now updated to the 29th June, so slight improvement as only 6 days behind now.0

Progress as only 2 direct debits not showing yet, one for 22nd and one for 29th and one credit for 22nd not on yet. just a pity all the money showing in account belongs to the bank as I have already withdrawn it over the counter lol
Another wage to go in tomorrow, so will be off to bank tomorrow to withdraw it. Have been transferring direct debits as they are showing as being paid. Tomorrow is last payment going IN to account and once the 2 DD come out that will be it, then aco!!!! can just sit there until all reconciled.TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0
