Ok thanks, was gonna ask someone to pop £10 in my bank while it's sorted as I need to be somewhere at lunch time but if it's not going to show then there's no point.
Hope they hurry up, had a right panic this morning when I saw the money hadn't gone in as we budget really tightly around it as it is lol x
I too panicked when I saw it hadn't gone in, its the first time ever for me that this has happened. Its hard when your budgeting for everything like you said, hope they sort it soon x0 -

Thank you for your updates, everybody. The BDC told me there is a problem with NatWest, Royal Ulster and RBS as you have said.
Funny, NatWest's system wasn't too broken to send me a snitty text last night, when a direct debit couldn't be met!

Thanks to everyone for all the updates. I am with NatWest too so that explains it.
They've got 48 hours to get it updated because that's when bills start coming out.
I've just checked online banking again, it's still not in. If it turns up during the day I'll let people know ASAP.

Hi. Had to jump in here I am with N.W and I haven't got my C.T.C yet. Our JSA wasn't paid in till 8am yesterday either.0

Hi I had the same problem this as my ctc didn't go in so I called the bank and they explained there systems were down and apologised for the inconvenience. I explained that there apology was nice but it did not change the fact that I did have any money and that It was. The banks fault not mine. The lady that I spoke to kept apologising and said there was nothing she could do apart from putting me trough to the complaints dept so I agreed. I got put through to another lady who basically said the same thing and kept apologising. So I asked will the bank be compensating customer for the problems that people are having. (she went silent) I said that if i were to make a mistake with my account and went overdrawn the bank would charge me. But when natwest make a mistake the customer gets nothing (silence) i said this is unfair (silence) she then put me on hold after a few mins she came back and said she would credit my account with £10 for the inconveiniance and she would monitor my account and once the system was back up and running she would put it in to my account. I know this a big win but aleast they will compensate if you ask for it. I think everyone should ask as the bank is quick enough to charge us when we !!!! up. So they should compensate when they !!!! up.0

I agree with PP if we were late paying something they would soon want their monies. It is getting stupid now all these peoples money gone AWOL. ARRGGGHHH0

Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
