Afternoon all!
First proper day back at school with the little yr 7s and their first day - they're soooo small and bewildered! Bless them. All still on their best behaviour - won't last!
I wore my new grey fitted dress and a coral coloured soft jacket over the top and got loads of compliments - quite chuffed as I wasn't too sure about the jacket.
An expupil of my school is swimming in the Paralympics tonight so must make sure to watch that, although I think I've been watching as much as I did the Olympics so far. Really enjoying it - actually have learned things too. I'm really glad its on the TV with as much coverage as the Olympics - the athletes all deserve their moment of exposure.
Feet are killing me, I'm tired and hungry so I think tonight will be another dog walk and a flop on the sofa after a nice bath to revive the feet:o.0 -

Evening All. Hugs to all those who need them:grouphug:.
I doing ok working toward my 3 goals.
Goal 1: Lose 6 - 8lb. Been at gym today and did 30 mins in Gym and then had a swim. Am totally stiff and sore now as I am so unused to gymming but will build my fitness back up slowly.
Goal 2: get back into teaching. Have submitted one appliation from for supply teaching and am half way through a form for a perm contract as a chemistry teacher. Aim to submit by end of the week.
Goal 3: Upgrade house to prepare for sale. Big jobs need to wait but have done some small maintenence jobs in Garden.0 -
Hope you get sorted PP, sorry to hear you're still suffering -I seem to have managed to get rid of my cold.
A bit fed up this morning just weighed myself and no weight loss! I admit that I had a hiccup over the weekend so perhaps thats it. Will try and carry on with the 5:2 thing but this is all too familiar, I cut out all the bad stuff and nothing happens, I get dis heartened and go back to normal eating patterns.I do feel better in myself IYSWIM and am just wondering if I'm not eating enough on the "normal" days as I come in very often under cal count. Will try and address this over the next 2 weeks.
Today I've done my nails, need to walk dogs, and get some more of the house sorted out.
Have a good everyone.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Moring ladies, tired after being up and down all night with dog with a poorly tum
not much fabbing am afraid as house is a tip and despite me busting a gut doesn't seem to be making much headway
washing breeding at an exponential rate  anyway no time for moaning just got to suck it up and get stuck in.
Feel back at square one with IF for some reason, that weeks holiday has set me back and am struggling to get back into it. Anyway am determined to get there.
Sorry for not responding individually need to crack on. Hugs and high fives all round xxxxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all,
*hugs* to those feeling a bit down this morning. Am feeling really tired today, not sure why. OH's mum and dad are coming round tonight, which I must admit am not looking forward to that much. I thought they were coming around 7-8ish for a few hours, apparently they're now coming about 5.30 and stopping overnight! So they'll probably be there when I get home and no time to chill out or anything. Plus they've said 'not to worry about feeding them as they'll go to the chippy for us all' - I really don't want chippy! But the only other options are to cook for everyone when I get in, which I don't really fancy and am not sure what I even have in that would do 4, or make myself something separate which I think will just look rude
Then I asked OH yesterday if he wanted to do a mystery shop at a restaurant tomorrow night - and he said we were meant to be going to see his gran then -we said on Sunday when we saw her that would pop round this week to show her some of the choir videos but we had things on until Thursday, didn't know it was a set thing! So if that goes ahead as well then will be 4 of the last 7 nights spent with his family!! Don't get me wrong, I like them but am feeling a bit overloaded with them at the momentSorry for the wee moan!
Got my mum a couple of books for her holiday (that she's hopefully still going on!) and have ordered her a pendant online of a crystal 4 leaf clover - she definately needs some good luck so think it will make her smile if nothing else. Not convinced that will come in time but can forward it on to her later I guess.
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Pod - I know what you mean about spending all that time with family - the exOHs family were OK in small doses (but not every night!) and even my own family get a bit wearing after a while (sounds awful I know!) Grit your teeth and think of Friday! Have you booked a doctors appt yet?
Lizzie - I know it sounds daft but are you eating enough on your non IF days? The starvation mode thing is true for me, if I don't have enough cals I don't lose weight. May not be true for everyone but I know it hinders me.
Bitsy - hope the dog is better - I know what its like! Poor woofers. Hope you're feeling a bit brighter now?
Only 2 days to the weekend now - feet are killing me, not used to standing up all day again yet. It will be better next week. I wore one of my new suits today, a mid grey one, with a midnight blue satin top and again got nice comments (size 10 too:)).
I don't think I'll lose any weight this week, its been hormone week and with the visitors and less exercise I'm not holding my breath, as long as the scales don't go up I suppose I'll be satisfied.
Need to do some exercise tonight other than dogwalking - maybe a shorter run (4K ish) just to keep the legs going, don't want to start down the slippery slope of not doing anything just because I've been at work. Will also plan out a few new routes to shake it up a bit.
Right lets go and think about tea.....0 -
Stiff quads still. Good to have a day off for muscle recovery.
Still feel very low due to a big let down. Not disclosing on here and hoping I pick myself up tomorrow and dust myself down on a new day.
Not much fabbiness going on apart from fabbing with a friend whose exercise is paying off delightfully and she has droped a dress size and looks great - you go girl!
Fabbed up some tasks getting the ironing done and washing dried on the line. One more load to go in a bit ready for tomorrow's fine weather.
Tomorrow is weigh in day - aiming to maintain again. Also measurement day too, who knows? Not expecting any difference at all
Picked up some more 10p bargains today of aftersun packs and a body spray to go in the stash drawer. Plenty in now to keep me going for the next few months!
Tomorrow is work, day off exercise, catch up on housework and cleaning and make some plans for the weekend as there's no way I'm staying in dwelling on things!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I've starved her for 24 hours so will see how she does. She keeps getting it regularly not sure if it's where she walks (she's a b*gger for mooching and eating, typical lab ), something she's sneakily chuffing in our garden or her food.
Anyway am considering having a go at running. With and without the dogso what's the best technique......I read somewhere running with heel strike first was not good for your joints and running on the balls of your feet was better. I am off to google to investigate.....
Sparkles hugs about your disappointment, tomorrow is a new day xxx
