nice long dog walk then back to complete the last day of Level 1 of Ripped in 30 which went better and I increased the weights for the last time as it was easy yesterday.

Tomorrow might start L2 and then go for a shorter bike ride as I would like to complete the Rin30 before me and mum go away next month

Having a nice restful Sat for a change - will be pampering my skin with a facial later on and also do some cleaning and housework and bit of ironing to do too and that's about it for today!

  • Morning All,

Ll - i will remember the elephant, think I'll do a set of clothing at a time and cross off my list, break it down into smaller pieces! My mum is always good when it comes to clearing stuff & very honest! But then her and my sisters get my cast offs.

    Eh xx

Ooh, just a quick post as I've found a tasty low-cal treat I thought some of you might like:

Innocent Fruit Tubes made of crushed fruit and juice - they are sold in the fresh chilled section by juice and smoothies but they recommend freezing them. Makes a nice little ice lolly and only 22 or 24 calories! Sold in boxes of 6, currently 2 for £3 at Tesco. Just had a mango and pineapple one, they also do strawberry and raspberry :)

 that's extortionate!! A nice idea but I'd rather make my own, even pouring a carton of innocent smoothie into molds myself.

ll glad it was good news at the docs, spf50+ is really common these days so should be able to get all sorts for cheap.

ww i have a love hate relationship with h&m too. Great cheap clothes but the changing rooms, the lighting etc is awful! I often need to go up 1-2 sizes there

I'm unpacking all my fabbing gear today and have cleared some space for it :j
Everyone in London seems to be tall, thin and immaculate. It's quite motivating, whilst I'll never be tall I have started bothering with clothes again and doing the 30 day shred 3-4 days a week. I feel lazy saying I struggle fit in exercise everyday but I leave the house at 6am and get home at 8pm so I reckon it's a valid excuse!
Seems like loads of people on the boards are doing intermittent fasting. One of those things I like reading posts on but don't fancy posting about myself.
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

Good thinking EH. I was only thinking I need to do a spot of wardrobe pruning/cupboard tidying myself when I was stuffing something back into the wardrobe!

sparkles you sound to have turned yourself round from feeling off colour/not sleeping well. :T on keeping up with the regime.

ww, your list is admirable. Like you, I get annoyed with myself is I don't do much with a day. It really depresses me. I'm conscious that I've been avoiding a few tasks and my diary's really filling up for September so I need to organise myself better otherwise I'll get a bit overwhelmed.

Really too Fab Friday to heart yesterday. DH and I were invited to a 'Hollywood' themed party. I knew that she wanted it to be a glam event and she'd bought herself an Audrey Hepburn type dress, styled her hair and looked fab. Sadly many of her friends interpreted this as a 'film' party and came dressed as Disney characters!:rotfl:DH and I did her proud with him in his DJ and me in one of my favourite dresses. It's a full length, black silk jersey dress from Episode. One of the few things I kept when I put on weight. I felt a million dollars and had loads of compliments.:D Definitely worth making the effort.

Very lazy day today: we're off to watch our team play first home game back in the Premiership! Fingers crossed!!

Weather very changeable here. One minute tipping down, next sun is out. Off to plan red and white outfit for this afternoon!!;)

Got a lot of little jobs to do today so thought I'd write a list to remind me....
    1. Give dog at least 3 walks - done, dodging monsoons!
    2. Go for a run done, 4K
    3. Pick up a few bits of food shopping done
    4. Clean skirtings in the hall done, looks loads better
    5. Touch up paintwork done
    6. Dusting/hoovering done
    7. Drop off dry cleaning and shoes for reheeling done
    8. One load of washing done, washing machine still playing up though:mad:
    9. Phone hairdressers done, appt on Thurs
    10. Print out a load of stuff for work done, run out of ink now
    11. Do some biology schoolwork done, organised and wrote a couple of new lessons, loads more to be done though
    12. Write one BTEC assignment - Lost the will to live with schoolwork, will do tomorrow
    13. Maybe go to cinema if I get bored and the weather is bad- am having a SkyBox Office movie tonight instead, cheaper and I won't get wet outside

Not too bad a day - feel like I got a lot done.

Its also the dog's birthday and I take him to Pets at Home to pick a present every year (I know I'm bonkers!) . This year he chose a filled bone and some dried sausages:rotfl::rotfl:Its funny to watch him there - so excited, like a kid in a sweet shop. The shop assistants love him (we go every couple of weeks for dog food) and make a proper fuss of him - we're always there for about half an hour - sad I know:p

Going to have a quiet evening and watch a film. Rock and roll!

I've got quite a lot done today. Long dog walk managed to dodge the rain.

All cleaning done bar sweeping and mopping the floors tomorrow. Sorted some off the wardrobe out- 2 dresses are now way too big and a skirt. Tried on the size 8 skirts which now fit much better. Looks like the toning up exercises are working very well.

Sadly my laptop has gone kaput so I'm on my phone and will attempt another repair job to see if I can fire it up again - hope so!

    Morning all!
Its finally stopped raining:j Yesterday was awful, it literally poured down from lunchtime until I went to bed. Hopefully it will be a bit better today, I hate being cooped up.

Not a lot planned for today, just swimming this morning and some dogwalking. Will do some schoolwork later too. May go to the cinema just to get out of the house.

ETA - 30 min dog walk and 50 lengths swimming done, the sun has finally come out so will take the dog for an hour long walk later if it lasts

Another early morning start for me today but that's ok and feel better for it.

Bedding all stripped and washed attempting to dry on the line. Rin30 Level 2 started today - v.hard going!

Just about to mop the floors after a coffee then think about what to do for the rest of the day
    Enjoy your day!

  • Hello lovely ladies,

Gorgeous sunshine here, sorted a few more bits of wardrobe discovering things I forgot about! Not much in charity box yet though. Decided To get underbed storage boxes and put clothing in at least tidy & away.

Off to meet a friend for coffee in the city centre, dangerous place for me I'll come back with at least one thing!

    Eh xx

Evening ladies - quiet here today, hope you're all making the most of the temporary respite from the rain.

I've had a productive day, been swimming, done 3 dog walks and most importantly have done loads of schoolwork. Still got quite a bit to do if I want to do minimum work on the weekends when I'm back at work but have managed more than ever before in a holiday.:T

I've been mooching around the Spice and meet up group websites and have booked a couple more things to do in a few weeks time. I'm going all cultured and going to see Shakespeare (Julius Caesar, get me!) and a production of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, and a comedy night.
I need to make sure I keep up some semblence of a social life when I'm back at work and not let my life revolve around school. Will also book onto to walks/rambles nearer the time - they are usually 8 or 9 miles on a Sunday and are sometimes quite challenging so a good bit of exercise as well as meeting up with the walkers for a gab.

Its a fairly busy week coming up with a dog hair cut, my hair cut, an organised walk on Weds, meeting my friend on Tues if she can get a babysitter, my mum and sister coming to stay on Thursday for 2 nights and culminating in the first 5K race on Sunday (am getting quite nervous about that now:o).
In addition to that lot there's a load of schoolwork and house work to be done before mum gets here and a minimum of 3 runs before Sunday and 2 swims to get out of the way if I'm going to complete the little fitness challenge I set myself for the holidays.

That should keep me out of trouble!
