Ooh, just a quick post as I've found a tasty low-cal treat I thought some of you might like:

Innocent Fruit Tubes made of crushed fruit and juice - they are sold in the fresh chilled section by juice and smoothies but they recommend freezing them. Makes a nice little ice lolly and only 22 or 24 calories! Sold in boxes of 6, currently 2 for £3 at Tesco. Just had a mango and pineapple one, they also do strawberry and raspberry :)
  • LL- I'm so glad your mole turned out to be ok and at now you know that you'll need to keep a close eye on your other moles, it at least gives you a chance to do something about it to prevent any further problems. You must be so relieved!

I have been feeling a bit more cheerful this afternoon. :)

I wasn't aiming for low carbs in particular but I guess on my 500 calorie days I will be having a lot less carbs than I would normally have. I didn't have a headache but just felt like I had no energy and just felt miserable and that every little thing was getting to me. I think maybe I need to experiment with the foods I am having on my low cal days and see which ones make me feel most sustained and happy. It's a relief to know I can eat normally until next Tues anyway! :)

Just had a yummy tea that turned out to be low cal - may be of some help to the fasters....

2 new quorn sausages (in the chiller, not frozen) 222 cals
whole bag of precut runner beans 36 cals
100g of boiled anya potatoes 72 cals
140 ml of tesco gravy granules 48 cals
Total of 376 cals and felt like a big proper dinner - a real plateful.

Have tried on all of the purchases again and am pleased with the work clothes and shoes - all look very smart. The two casual tops I bought are going back though - both ok but would probably only be worn once or twice so not worth the money. I've gone through my work wardrobe and its actually quite nice now - some older bits matching well with new things and at least 7 or 8 smart outfits so will rotate over 2 weeks. I did see another jacket I might buy in a dusky pink colour so that will bulk it out a bit too.

Didn't go for a run today as legs were quite tired after the traipsing round the shops but will go tomorrow and took the dog for a good hour's stroll in the park instead.
Ready for a nice bath and a flop on the sofa watching the soaps.

Well that was an unusually bad night's sleep. Don't know what happened there - ages to get off, interrupted light sleep and gave up at 6.30am after I thought I would have a lie in this morning.

Oh well, up and eaten and will get out and take the dog for a nice walk before the rain arrives, Then maybe do the last day of L1 Rin30

Sparkles - perhaps its in the air? I was awake with no hope of going back to sleep at 6am too. Frustrating isn't it? I'll do the same as you and get out with the dog early, the rain started in earnest last night but it seems to have dried up for now so will make the most of it while it lasts.

Got a lot of little jobs to do today so thought I'd write a list to remind me....
    1. Give dog at least 3 walks
    2. Go for a run
    3. Pick up a few bits of food shopping
    4. Clean skirtings in the hall
    5. Touch up paintwork
    6. Dusting/hoovering
    7. Drop off dry cleaning and shoes for reheeling
    8. One load of washing
    9. Phone hairdressers
    10. Print out a load of stuff for work
    11. Do some biology schoolwork
    12. Write one BTEC assignment
    13. Maybe go to cinema if I get bored and the weather is bad
Fab wise - I might continue going through the wardrobe and weed out a few bits for the charity shop and have a general tidy round. I've also decided to try to get a hair appointment before I go back to school, I need a trim and a colour.

Hope everyone has a good day and avoids the rain.

ETA - been for a 4K run and found it much easier this time with a better time and feeling like I could carry on. Will increase the distance to 4.6K next time (a slightly bigger loop) and see how it goes. Think the mojo is slowly returning!

:wave:Hi everyone. Been awol over the summer with two littlies and a part-time job to fit in whilst they sleep! (So lucky I can work from home). So no fabbing for me, and no weight loss - though no weight gain either :D

Had a quick read of the thread, have really missed the inspiration of everyone doing so well and really need a kick up the bum to get going again!

I was up with the larks too.

Have painted one of the chairs but need a break from painting (tummy a bit squiffy) so will go out and get some fresh air before it rains.

Will do an hours weeding - again - I just can't keep pace with garden at the moment. Hopefully DS1 is popping round tomorrow to clear out the back section so I can get it fenced. I will then plant some shrubs and put down some weed suppressant and then bark chippings. It's going to have to be easy maintenance gardening now. I'm getting too old and decrepit for veg patches.:rotfl:

Fab wise - I look a right scruff so will need a serious pampering session later today, hair, face-mask, nails et.

Sparkles - a little TLC today.

EH - re the wardrobe sort out - remember the elephant. ;)

Rachela - welcome back, don't worry school hols are nearly done I think most mums start to run out of steam by the end of the six weeks.

WW - good todo list there - very organised.:T

Right off to tackle those weeds.

Hehe, I just woke up and nipped out to the shed to put a wash on before I get start for the day, had a walk around my garden and spent a good ten minutes licking the remaining caterpillars off my cabbages!

LL - You're not missing much this year not having a beg patch, with the weather we've had the only things I've been growing are caterpillars and slugs! Even the fail-safe strawberry patch is looking forlorn. And the courgette seeds never came despite having them coming out of our ears last year!
My blueberries were going well, I had a few and were waiting for the rest of a promising crop to ripen, then went back a few days later and found them bare - assume the birds had them :(

Anyway, best go shower and dress, I'm shuffling about in a dressing gown! (dont worry, the garden is fairly secluded!):rotfl: Still at least the washing's in early so I can get more done!

Rachelja welcome back! Even when I don't have time to post I try to read the thread quickly as find it helps motivate me - I usually look at it quickly when I'm having breakfast or something.
