  • Yay, well done! Good idea to go with the dog.

I added music when I went last night. When I got back I told DH that I think I may have to take Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon off my playlist as I want to shout "wooooahhh" and I don't think the Swiss could cope!

WW - well done on your first run.

I'm feeling very energised this week due to all that exercise. Can I keep it going? Of course I can!

Wow you are all so energetic with your running, I'm impressed, well done :j

I'm not even going to go there...lol. I enjoy my swimming too much, 100 lengths so far this week and I am just loving it! I could really do with some fast drying towels though (if there is such a thing), it is terrible trying to get them dry in this weather with my swimming and the kids' swimming lessons!! My new thing of the week is tomorrow - aqua circuits. I'm not really sure what to expect, has anyone ever been?

I think my healthy eating is going well too. I am enjoying better foods, and don't want to eat loads of junk now that I am looking after myself more. Funnily enough I no longer crave cheese, chocolate or crisps, things that used to be my downfall in the past. :D

Is anyone watching 'the men who made you fat' on bbc2? (tomorrow I think). I was quite naive before watching it, I must admit, but the link between advertising and increasing obesity shocked me as I had just never seen the connection. :o

Right, best get off and do some house fabbing lol as I had the morning off swimming and shopping :)

Aren't we just all supermotivated lately! We'll be fab in no time.:j:j:j
Well done to us all - just a few weeks ago I did no exercise other than walk the dog and lately I've been Shredding, swimming, abs toning and now running - who's have thought!
I do feel better for it though.

PS Heebie - just googled it and Week 1 burns approx 170-180 cals a session

Is it bad that I'm trying to figure out if that allows me a "free" kitkat?! :rotfl:

Rachel - Well done on the swimming. I used to swim a lot when I was younger but I'm not a very strong swimmer anymore so avoid swimming when I can. Aqua Circuits sounds good though, can't help with what it involves though - you'll have to come back and let us all know tomorrow.

A two fnger Kitkat is about 100 cals - fill your boots!

Had an inset today, was quite interesting for a change. Early finish too, so not a bad day so far. Just plodded the dog around the park, its too hot and humid for him really but he's done for a while down.
I'm going to go swimming later, will be nice and refreshing after the hot sticky day in a meeting room. Think I'll also do one of the 10min abs DVDs too, just to keep them on the decline:rotfl:

Need to do a bit of front garden mowing (that sounds rude!) as the rain has made the grass and dandelions go mad. And no doubt a hoover downstairs afterwards as the grass always seems to come in with me.

Nothing much planned for this weekend apart from the prom tomorrow so will have to find something low cost to occupy me - I'm useless at being bored.
  • I need some energy to get back into exercise, just worried my back going to flair up. Got to make an app with dr to get xray results.

Today it seems ive eaten all day, not because im hungry but bored even though at work & a lot do carbs so feel sluggish & fed up at mo! Off to cook a healthy tea & write out a food plan for 2moro so dont stuff myself silly! My waist line is not thanking me!

    Eh xx

Well done on all the exercise everyone, you're making me feel worn out. lol

Not sure I'm gonna get the shred done today, had a late tea and have to leave an hour before I can exercise.

Its 17 weeks today that we fly to florida and I'm still as big a lump as I was when we booked the holiday last July. I really want to be able to look back at the photos and like what I see, not liking that right now.

Feel a bit stuck really, I have very little willpower and am easily lead, I have tried weight watchers, and although I love the leader (she is a complete nutter) I can't stand waiting in the q and I've not really followed the plan the last few times I tried it. Found that since they changed the points system that the meals are not as family friendly. The Slimming world meetings in my area are on a night when its just not doable.

So I seem to have exercising mastered but struggling with the food bit. So thats my goal for the next week is to write it all down and how I'm feeling when I'm picking. if anyone has any other ideas, other than stappling my mouth shut, I would be truly grateful.

I do know that there is no way I can lose ALL my weight by my hols but it would be good to have got rid of a chunk of it. Figuring 2lb a week would be noticable and make me look a little more presentable.

I will stop now cos I'm gabbling!!!!
