    Well I would like to know where these 1000 branches are because the branch in our town isn't open so that was a wasted journey. The problem I have is that I had a DD go out yesterday for a Credit Card payment but MBNA say they haven't recieved it and although technically the card isn't due to be paid until Sunday, MBNA do not process payments after 5pm Friday until Monday by which time it will be late with the hassle that goes with that including losing a life of balance interest rate. I will be interested to see how natwest will sort that out for me.

    there is hope! my balances have updated, ive been waiting for cheques to clear and finally they have done. i still cant transfer between accounts like a previous poster but still its progress - perhaps my wage etc will go in as planned on monday?? who knows but the message on their website still says they are "working to resolve the issues"

    It looks like they have returned my direct debit from yesterday, even though I had the money in my account before this all started kicking off.

    BACS payment finally credited to my business account and balance updated.

    Can't transfer any money or pay anyone as it says 'Service Unavailable' but at least the money is there.

    some advice please... i need to draw a large amount from my account tomorrow, im not sure if they will allow me to draw this amount out at my local branch or if I can pay it using chip and pin. The amount I need is in my account and shows on my balance. i too was affected with my wages yesterday but fortunately my wages eventually appeared 4:30 pm… I have made a few debit payments that have shown on my account so fingers crossed things seem to be moving forward….
