Hi there, I know it's easy to say, but please try not to worry, they won't have stopped your child benefit. Hopefully it will show sometime today for you.

My account seems to be operating fine now, a credit that has gone in today has appeared luckily. Hopefully everybody else's accounts are moving more freely now too

My account is running as normal. Standing order went out and my daughters dla went in. Was due today and gone in fine
  • Normally the NBC love to get hyped up and over excited about a big news story. The recent rbs problems is a huge news story effecting millions of people, involving millions of pounds, with deep consequences for uk businesses and with hundreds of headline individual stories. Yet the bbc are suspiciously quiet and seem to be following a party line that everything is all right really and fixed now anyway so let's back to the football, Wimbledon, or David's latest speech on benfit cheats. I was surprised not to see any reporting actually from Nat west branches on Sunday, massive story, banks have never opened on a Sunday before. They gave air time to rbs executives instead.

Very strange the bbc is not hosting any user comments on this story at all.
Finally anyone else worried that rbs is Santander a Spanish bank whose creditworthiness was downgraded this week and needing a euro bailout.

No movement today either on my Ulster Bank account, last transaction was 19th. This weeks pay is also beginning to look like a no go along with my tax credits.

Rbs customer - I have received a credit on my account from ESA as usual today but the larger sum from my annual pension which went in and disappeared again on friday still has not reappeared,so showing as overdrawn which means I have to do a 30 mile round trip to a branch to get money. Have opened a Barclays account now.

Salary that was due in on Saturday, has now arrived - Debit Card payments are off, and Direct Debits from yesterday have appeared today and been paid.

The only thing missing is they have not yet taken back the £300 temp credit.

Maybe they will forget about it ( yerrrr right !)

Hope everyone gets sorted soon x

Salary is in this morning but the standing order which is supposed to be transferred to our bill paying account still isn't showing. And the amount in the bill paying account has gone down and I can't see where it's went.

At least it's heading in the right direction.
