It's not a grabbit so should be somewhere else but I have no idea where - maybe on the existing Hoxton Hotel post? As this was posted by a newbie, and we are meant to be nice to new posters, surely it would be better to guide them to the right place instead of being sarcastic and rude? People can be put off posting again if they get slated on their first post. As for the Hoxton thing I have never managed to get a room despite sitting with two laptops on their site trying to get to the booking page - one on Safari and one on IE. I forgot this time or I probably would have gone for another hair pulling, growling attempt.

It is a grabbit.

But a secondary thread, started by someone after the event, complaining that it might be a con, wasn't a grabbit.

That thread has now been merged with the original thread. So comments from that, complaining abut the wrong place, are now mixed into here, out of context...

I posted a thread here at 12.01 but can't seem to find it, I watched the clock go down to launch, input the questions (within seconds) and at 12.00 and 20 seconds all of the rooms were gone. I'm sure it was just a publicity stunt no-one could have posted any quicker I swear.

What the hell is the point of posting grabbits you can't get??!!

One reason is that people who've ordered it can discuss payment/delivery issues and suggest solutions to each other.
It certainly does have a point.
There was a deal withdrawn by Very but lots of us got a £50 voucher by way of an apology, so yes, there are lots of reasons for discussing deals that have expired - for those that did grabbit. If you didn't grabbit then just don't read it - what's the issue? :-)

I sat at 11.59 till 12.00 on the dot trying and trying, as I do everytime and never any luck, they apparently all sold out at 12.01. Maybe next time eh haha. I think I give up with the hoxton sale now, it's like a room lottery :P x
