Huh? Is your ad blocker not working?

    Not sure of your point.
Mine was that Aqua are not a trustworthy company. Their customer service is absolutely dreadful.

Oh,... shower of a company :rotfl:
I couldn't figure out where you'd seen something about a shower on that page.

    Anyone received their cheque yet?
  • I haven't even had the cashback credited to my account... final payment taken and no sign of anything... will have to ring them again

No cheque here, but today I did receive another postal statement, dated 5th March, showing the "CREDIT BALANCE REFUND" dated 4th March.

Rang Aqua again this morning, as the promised cheque has still not arrived. Was told that they started sending out the cheques yesterday so I should receive it by the middle of next week at the latest. So how could they say that cheques would be received by 10 March, when they did not start sending them out until 10 March. I pointed out that if my payment was just 1 day late they would slap on a penalty, but my cheque is over a month late (from the date it was promised in writing).
Royal Mail being as unreliable as it is, I am sure some cheques will get lost in the post. How long will people have to wait for a replacement cheque?
I imagine this is one of the reasons they are using cheques rather than electronic transfers. They want to hang on to the money as long as they can.

A few weeks waiting for a cheque is one thing (and not really that important in the scheme of things).
My point was that important matters - like id fraud, financial fraud, data protection and section 75 may not receive great customer service either.
I recently put a small amount on a credit card to cover a major a long purchase (solar panels). It might ONLY last 6 years but I'd rather put my trust in another company and not Aqua.

Aqua obviously lied to you. As I said in my earlier post, they only started posting out the cheques yesterday. They have employed delaying tactics to hang on to the money as long as they cxan.

Well if they did, it would be a first. I called them 5 times about various issues, none of which were chasing a cheque, and I got 5 different answers to when the cashback would be paid.
