I haven't had a printed statement as yet but online it is showing
11 Jul 13 12 Jul 13 LOYALTY AWARD -£100.00 CR
I spent £3370 before 9 April. Printed statements since then showed cashback of £100.0 -
I used this card abroad in December for purchases and got better than FOREX rates. No charges either.
Another one is Halifax Clarity Reward Card.I can't find the 3% card on the website and was looking to find out if it is ok to use this card abroad. Do you get charged silly rates? I have either this or a Santander 123 CC to use. Is one better than the other to use abroad? Obviously I won't be lifting cash or anything!0 -

There was something in the Ts & Cs saying it would be rounded down to the nearest fiver.
So perhaps he had acrued £99.98 which showed as £100 but under their system only pays out £95. If that's the case then it's a little dissapointing that they round up for display but down for payout.
Did your partner not do his own independent calculations?
Personally I always do my own maths and never rely anyone else.
Yes she spent more than enough to cover the £100.
And like you say, it's very disappointing that we have at least 3 paper statements stating that the full £100 has been earned. She has sent them a message/complaint but whether that will make any difference I don't know.0 -

I don't ever get a reply to messages sent.

Yes it should.
There should be a formal complaints process and if necessary she can take it to the ombudsman.
I would not expect it to get that far because it will cost £100s to deal with the complain in staff time and ombudsman fees, so I would expect that if she persists that they will either admit a mistake or give a "gesture of goodwill".
She needs to follow the "formal" complaints procedure to start the clock ticking not just send any old email.0 -

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Further to this I got a letter from Aqua today, explaining that they'd put my limit down 'as a responsible lender' and because 'I hadn't used my card in a while.'
The letter invited me to call them and ask for my original limit back, which I did. They agreed, after placing me on hold 'to see if they could do it.'
So perhaps they are not directly using the tactic of lowering limits to make the card less attractive/more work for us cashback bounty hunters after all...!0 -

I hit the £100 cashback on 9 April. But used the card for small purchases in May June and July. No cashback of course for these but they did not lower my credit limit of £650.0 -
Yeah! that could be it.

Same here, used it once a month for £3-4 transaction after I had done my £100 cashback.
Thought at least it keeps it ticking over.
BTW, for info I had a limit raise about 6 months in from £500 to £12000
