    I think thats incorrect.

On the 31 August 2011, all Aqua, Opus, and Marbles customers were transferred from Bank of Scotland to Progressive Credit Ltd, which is owned by SAV Credit. They've also recently purchased Santanders store card business, but Santander will continue to run it until next year.

Yes, the card is with SAV Credit. However, as Mr K said, some of the *admin* is still outsourced to halifax. This is why the phone number on the back of the card is the same as that for halifax card services (and you'll notice the system is unbranded until after you've entered your card number). Similarly, e-mails replying to credit limit requests from aqua had halifax/bos/lloyds signatures.

Of course, us customers shouldn't notice this, but the implementation is messy that it's easy to notice.

    Oh, look:

So I do have an account after all. Can't re-register twice.

I'm having similar problems except I've tried re-registering and after inputting the two pages of information I get:
    Unexpected error

Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred and we can't continue servicing your account online at this time.
Please contact aqua customer services on 0845 601 0436 for further assistance. Lines are open 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sundays. To maintain a quality service, we may monitor or record phone calls. Call charges will apply. Please check with your service provider.

looks like its got over whatever problems it had i was able to register and log in yesterday looks basic but as long as its stable it'll do fine. None of us are with aqua for the design of the website its either the cashback or subprime element that attracts us.

Hurray! On the third day I finally managed to login.

Guess what? A much anticipated error now happens when I try to see a statement. Hardly a surprise that it just throws me out and I have to login again.

Does "See statements" work for anybody? I keep getting the same "Unexpectedrolleyes.gif error" throwing me out.

I have "View" statements and it's working fine for me right now.
I am not signed up for paperless billing.

Having spoken to the people in the call centre who claimed to be unaware there's even a problem, but whatever the problem is will mysteriously solve itself if I try again 'in a few hours'...

quick question; has anyone using a Mac successfully re-registered and logged on without the 'unexpected' error?

I've just tried my Linux laptop (with Firefox), my Windows VM (with Firefox and IE), and my Mac (with Safari), and I get consistent experience: unexpected error. It's not the OS.

But I'm waiting for my Windows VM to apply patches and reboot, because IE did something funny earlier, and I want to confirm that I'm really really lucky and I should play the lottery today :): I got a "503 Service Unavailable" error - no login page at all.

Update: I'll go play the lottery. IE is now displaying the "normal" unexpected error. I was just really lucky to hit Aqua when they were rebooting or something.

Does anyone know if we can change to paperless statement online or do I have to call them?

Has anyone received their cashback yet? I've had my 12 month statement and was expecting to see it on my account now but nothing.
