Jsa doubt about past job

Sigh.
I give up.
But assuming you are genuine, although doubting that now, my post was intended to help. Be Honest. personal reasons is an excuse. We could all say that. Be specific. To them, not this forum, but if you really think you can claim benefits after being sacked, then that IQ of 126 is starting to come under question. And thankfully (or so I thought until now) you dont get paid benefits when you lose your job through a situation you caused.
Im not sure you understand the process either. You can claim JSA if your sacked. DWP decide.0 -
A bit of a big error IMHO everything is not so black and white im afraid. What you think and what the DWP rules are, are 2 completely different things.
Redundancy is a form of dismissal, do you suggest the DWP don't pay out then?
I can't see that you have any humble opinions. And you are still twisting words. I did not say dismissed. I said dismissed for their own misconduct. Redundancy is not a misconduct dismissal, whereas not turning up to work is. And the OP did not, as Evilm did, explain why they were dismissed. They chose not to. And the DWP chose to take it further.0 -

I have been through the process so not humble opinions, have you?0 -

Redundancy is not dismissal. You have done nothing wrong or lost your job on purpose if you are made redundant.
The JC do not need to decide if you were to blame for the loss of the job if made redundant.0 -

Well firstly because I was lurking on this site since Christmas and saw what happened and your involvement in what happened, because I followed her advice here from the other site. Secondly, because, since I joined, it, you and your part in it, have been mentioned on threads by other posters. Including your continuing obsession with the matter. Thirdly, because I read your obviously not very sincere apology to her after it happened. Fourthly, because you keep bringing the matter up. Fifthly, because there is such a thing as a search facility on the site and I know how to use it.
However, thanks for clarifying one point. I think I'll choose to believe the grapevine in your case.0 -

Redundancy is a form of dismissal. But you have not read the original post.0 -

I'd give up if I were you, LadyMissA. Neil is always right even when he isn't, but loves to pick arguments over other peoples posts, for exampleyou have to apply right away ie first day of being out of work.
No you don't have to apply right away. Nobody has to claim benefits, even if they are entitled to them.Redundancy is a form of dismissal. But you have not read the original post.
Nor it would appear has Neil. The OP wasn't made redundant, he was dismissed for taking too much time off work for personal reasons.0 -
