You know perfectly well. I suggest you take your private vendetta to the site where SarEl now posts.
And you have no idea that the OP didn't have fair warning - the OP has stated that they were dismissed for too much time off not a single occasion.0 -

I just heard on the great vine that you was sarel, and since you joined when she left I chose to believe it.
FYI I have no issue with you or sarel.
Who has been banned from posting for a month, I have no clique and nothing has been said to me by MSE0 -

Just pondering, but how do you "hear something on the grapevine" on an internet forum?0 -

So don't troll the thread by throwing it in. Was there any reason to start that fight again?0 -
BrettMorganxD wrote: »really? I have always wondered about this. So you would lose benefit for a year if you waited 6 month before the initial claim?
Yes, I believe so. I waited four months due to interviews I had lined up (and financial year related stuff - my NI records were mucked up for the relevant year) and was told that they could still apply a sanction for the full six if they found I left my last job voluntarily or was sacked. It was a temp job so it didn't come up.0 -
answer the question properly.. if u read the first post i said it was my choice wether top give them details or not. i told them i was sacked thats all they needed as said by the person doing my claim
Sigh.
I give up.
But assuming you are genuine, although doubting that now, my post was intended to help. Be Honest. personal reasons is an excuse. We could all say that. Be specific. To them, not this forum, but if you really think you can claim benefits after being sacked, then that IQ of 126 is starting to come under question. And thankfully (or so I thought until now) you dont get paid benefits when you lose your job through a situation you caused.0 -
FYI - when I was sacked from a job for ill health and a sickness policy dispute I did not get sanctioned (a prior instance - I applied straight away). I told them exactly what happened and they said "fair enough" and processed the claim.0

marybelle01 wrote: »Allow me to correct the one very small error - 95% of my post being correct in actual fact. They may not always sanction. If someone has been dismissed through their own misconduct, I think they should sanction. Why should the rest of us, who have grasped the simple fact that you have to actually turn up to work to keep a job, pay for those who can't? Everyone has "personal stuff", but they keep it out of work because they realise that they will have a lot more problems if they don't turn up to work. I have no problem paying for those who can't find work, but those who can't be bothered to turn up for the work they have shouldn't be paid for by the rest of us.
A bit of a big error IMHO everything is not so black and white im afraid. What you think and what the DWP rules are, are 2 completely different things.
Redundancy is a form of dismissal, do you suggest the DWP don't pay out then?0 -
marybelle01 wrote: »If you don't apply then you aren't losing benefit because you aren't entitled to any. But it is true that not applying doesn't suspend anyway sanction applied when you do.
Of course you lose JSA benefit if you dont apply right away and are entitled to it. Im not sure you really know what your talking about MB0
