Cats were munching in the kitchen apart from suicidal Macius the baby who wanted to nick Zarta's bone by putting his matchsticks paws into her cage.. sigh.....0 -

Not very MSE!
Eat the rabbit yourself and spend what you save on the cats!
I buy whole minced wild rabbit now, but my butcher used to give me the heads and offal which he trimmed when he sold rabbit to restaurants. It all went in the mincer...teeth and all...and the cats love it.0 -
Amazon have some great deals on cat food. Might be worth a look:

As for cat litter, ask your neigbours if you can have their old newspapers & use that shredded up.OK you'll have to change it a couple times a day,but it'll be free....0

Dalek, I am not sure which litter you are currently using but this one from Zooplus has recently got good reviews from a member on another forum

She says it clumps even better than Oko and it's quite a bit cheaper.
I know these wood litters look very expensive up front compared to cheap clay ones, but as GR can attest they last for ages ( even if they cant contain ALL the cat poo pongs, eh GR? )0 -
I'm currently using lidl's clumping grit litter - £1.79 for 10kg.
People are saying that wood goes further. The Daleks Reign Supreme, All Hail The Daleks!0
