A bit of a vent :(

Hi B.
If he gets in touch in a few days - says he made a big mistake, he is missing you and can he undump you - please read this thread again very carefully before you make any decisions. Maybe some of your comments on here were made too hastily. Not sure its such a good idea to vent very personal feelings so very publicly - unless you are absolutely sure they reflect your true feelings, not just your right now feelings - my advice is wait a bit till you get past the angry stage and can reflect more realistically.John0 -
Sounds like a !!!!!!. Move on.
Just enjoy the silence; it's always good when it stops. The endless trying to change you and make you into what it seems his mates wanted...sounds like a lucky escape to me.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

He'll have to grow up a lot before I even considered giving him another chance - he's always been extremely childish, and I've just taken it.
I know where you're coming from, but when somebody screams "we're effing over" in the street then leaves you in a rough area of the city in the middle of the night to find your own way home, it leaves me very reluctant to let him worm his way back in.0 -
I'm currently still living at home, but we were looking at flats to move into - one option is forcing my sister to live with me, but I doubt she'd be too happy with that one!
Grr!!!
If this is the same sister you talked about in another thread, do u really think that's a good idea?
Oh and iv met type like ur ex before, odds on he comes crawling back begging for forgiveness within a few weeks! I just hope u have the sense to tell him to do one!0 -
Nooo my little sister, she's lovely but very independent!
He's going to get nowhere, the more I think about the rubbish he's put me through, the more I think he can do one!0 -
Glad to hear it. Listen can I give you a bit of advise? I really hope I don't sound too patronising but you're only twenty, you're still growing up so don't waste anymore time than u have to fretting about this A hole! In a few years you'll look back, laugh and wonder what you were even doing with the loser in the first place! So get out there and enjoy being young :-)0

I know, thank you all so much for your kind comments, it's really helped to cheer me up. I've been invited for a weekend in Scarborough by my friend, so that'll help cheer me up as well.
And if all else fails, I already keep cats, and have cat biscuits in my handbag, so the transition to crazy cat lady won't be too hard0 -
He's actually older than me too, yet the most childish person I think I've ever met.
The awkward thing is, I'm quite shy and don't drink either, so I can't even go get hammered to get over it!
Drinking would only be a partial solution anyhow.
It might sound counterintuitive, but try going out to do something energetic like say Zumba (or anything like that that you fancy).
It will give you somewhere to direct all that adrenaline coursing through your system, you learn a skill at the same time, AND you'll acquire some new moves for the night club.0 -
That's actually a really good idea, and something I can rope my sisters into joining with me!
I think the church near me does classes...
I'm starting to get quite excited about all the new things I can do without him whinging that I don't see him often enough!!!0 -
Sounds like you're going to be just fine without him
Go out and enjoy yourselfI think that's the best revenge of all.
