Has anybody used laser on upper lip and how many treatments are needed and does it scar???:o0
-
5stey, I had it done on both my upper lip and chin. It worked on my upper lip, although every now and then a random one appears.
I had about 8 treatments and there was no scarring.0 -

1st post after lurking for about a year, but I had to when I found this one! I waxed for years which was fine, then I got fed up with having that every month so had laser - very expensive £200 per session and had 5 sessions, had very little effect and I have been left with skin pigmentation problem (I'm blond, fair skin), so now I am having electrolysis on stubborn ones! I'd go through any amount of pain to get rid of em!!!:o"Adoption Loss is the only trauma in the world where the victims are expected by the whole of society to be grateful" - The Reverend Keith C. I had electrolysis, years ago, but regret it now as you can see lots of tiny scars as my skin ages0

I was just thinking, when you have all this hair problem, you really think you are the only woman in the world with it dont you. Im older now so it doesnt bother me as much but I do love the way people are so much more open now - I remember watching Celeb BB last year and that beautiful Shilpa was quite confidently walking around with her face covered in hair remover bless her.0

Can't believe no one's mentioned shaving.
I tried electrolysis - hurt like hell - I was shouting stop, stop.
I'm too nervous to try laser - just in case it scars - rather have a hairy lip.
Can't use lighteners - skin too sensitive. Same with hair removal creams.
Tried waxing - painful - but the worst thing was my upper lip went all red and swollen, was very tender as well. Looked really bad for 2 days. Was several days before it felt back to normal.
So I bought a Remington dual head rotary shaver. Brilliant. Just use it as and when. Pain free and effective. Good for legs as well!0 -
I use hair removal cream like Veet, I only have a couple of hairs noticeable on my top lip, at the sides because I'm dark haired. I tried shaving before but if you smack your lips together a day or two after shaving your snash (as I call it) it feels like a mans upper lip! Most unpleasant.0
