Treatment took about 9 months, and I haven't waxed or shaved anywhere yet. I completed my treatment in February this year.
What skin type are you? Which laser type and settings did you use? With whom did you have your treatment done? Was your treatment on offer?
Note: laser hair removal is referred to as permanent hair REDUCTION, not removal by all government/health/regulatory bodies (eg. FDA) and organisations.0 -
Which London SK:N clinics did you go to ShoeAddict? I've heard mixed reviews about the various central London ones.0

Did the people who were going to have this done, do it?
I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks and I'm really tempted but Im not good with pain0 -
It is painful! However, if your salon offers lavender waxing (ie they use a wax with lavender in it) this can help with the initial pain and the afterglow! The therapists I know also recommend the taking two asprin before the wax which has already been mentioned as helpful. Personally I prefer to brave the razor (as the pain put me off)!0

Its bearable, although my left side was more painful than my right, you do need to take a couple painkillers beforehand but its definitely worth it.
It didn't last that long though for me, after a couple of weeks the hair had grown back, I couldn't have lasted 6 weeks between waxings.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I would ask the same question as Spork.
If you would pls tell us about the laser type and the place they did it at it would be very appericated. I was told there are many different types out there.

I have nevery heard of this stuff. Can you please describe it and tell me how much did you pay? Do they do stuff for larger areas of body as well?

I've already said that it was on offer. It was with SKIN clinics.
I have no idea what kind of laser it was, but they did a skin patch test for a higher laser each time so by the end of the treatment it was about as powerful as they could use.0 -

Yes, I did as well. Sounds very good for people with facial embarassing hair, but I need something mainly for my bikini area.
The laser treatment sounds good and my sister can afford it, I will point her here and also to the Sk:n Clinic thread. However I am not in the position to spend thousands for hair removal, anyone would recommend what do they do?
Which DIY wax kit is the best? Or foams, creams... any advice appreciated.
