I personally use an epilator (is that right?) You know one of those electric things that pulls hairs out like tweezers. It gets rid of them for longer, and lasts longer than razors, wax etc. So whilst it may be more expensive on the outset, I think it saves in time, as you're not constantly buying shaving products.
Anyway, what do the other girlies think?
I use Nair easy wax for short hair, you warm it up in the microwave.
The hair does not seem to grow back very quickly either,I find I can go for six weeks before I wax again.
I tried the veet wax strips  never again just too painful.0 -
I use cheap disposable razors with cheap hair conditioner and give them a quick going over whilst in the shower quick n easy and painfree, leaves legs really soft and smooth afterwards too ; )0

I am allergice to Veet and the old Immac..tried wax strips, but very little was removed (am I alone here??).
I use razors BUT (must be me!!!) I alwasys seem to nick my self in the same place!!! The bone that runs down the front of my leg is very pointed and I try to shave every way except straight up or down ....but invariably i forget then ....nip..ouch ....blood... and graze three inches long !!!!!!
Why do I bother!!!!!0 -

I WISH!!
I must have the quickest growing hair on the planet me thinks.
I have mine waxed prfessionally ( top halves) and within 2 weeks they are coming through again.....they really are the bain of my life
Would really love to have that laser treatment which eventually kills off growth altogether but it is sooooo expensive and would have to travel to have it done.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

I was glad I had had it done: the legs haven't really been visible since but at least there weren't hairs poking through the nifty surgical stockings! And I was able to reassure the nurse about to remove extensive sticky plasters from my hands and scalp that I was well prepared!
Only thing is now I am sure some of the drugs I am on are turning me into a female Godzilla ... but I won't complain until the hair's grown back on my head (mercifully it doesn't show - at least not to me - but it itches where they shaved it!!!) The legs will just have to stay inside those stockings a bit longer, and if I decide it needs doing again I'll go back to the salon.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Its really good to see you back Sue.
I am afraid I have still not found the courage to try the wax strips which seems rather silly after all you have been through.0 -

You made me laugh cos my best mate has the fastest growing hair in the land. She'd done her legs about a week when we had a discussion on this topic. There was a few of us present when someone noticed a few hairs on my legs, I said not to worry cos I only shave when I go on holiday at which BM gasped. I said I was joking but I do only do them 2 or 3 times a year. She was so cross and so we ended up confessing how often and with what products. She was considerabley the worst, shaves every Friday night during the summer due the short wearing, but she said everyother day on her hols OMG. I used to shave about once a month in the shower but now I can't be bothered and I was right I had the least hairy legs and hadn't done them in 3 months.

Okay, I confess. I have two children.
I am also on pain killers for my arthritic foot and now because of my accident and I STILL can't bear to do it.
My daughter and I have said we will try it together so I think we have to just set a day and time and get on with it.
I only have a relatively small area on each leg that gets hair anyway after I scratched them bits following an allergic reaction to some shaving cream.0
