    Part of the Furniture
The key thing to waxing is Exfoliation, you need to do this prior to expose and hairs that be under dead skin, and as the hair grows back to prevent ingrown hairs.
    Waxing is great
If you are a waxing virgin
never have it done near to your time of the month
You could take a pain killer 20 min prior to treatment
Trim hairs pior to visit as if to long these will pull hurt more 5mm max needed
Alway make sure if you are told to pull /stretch the skin whilist the wax strip is being pulled you do so as this is why brusing happens.
Sudocrem is the best thing to apply after waxing it will take and pain or readness away quickly
Remember its their job and they do it for the money not to look at your bits
Hope this helps someone to become smooth

Hahaha, perhaps the all fours is a little unnecessary :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I bought myself one yesterday. The Silk one half price in Boots £34.99. My legs were not hairy enough to do as I shaved them day before yesterday, so I went straight in for the the bikini line  I was brave, after a little while the pain does not feel to bad. I think I have not done a bad job for my first attempt.

I got a bit carried away with my trimming head as well, my husband is going to think Christmas has come early this year!:rotfl:I have never looked so neat and tidy if you get my drift!
  • I've had one for years - £5.00 in local factory outlet. Yes - painful but can't say you notice after you've been using it a while. It takes a little time to get used to - I'm lazy and don't bother too much in winter so first use in spring is ..... anyways, I to must've saved pounds and pounds and POUNDS over the years. If you get one cheap, do it, you can keep doing the other thing and use this as well until it stops being too bad.

I've been using an epilator on my legs for 16+ years now, and yes it did hurt at first, but I honestly cant feel it now. I'm currently trying to persuade my daughter to try it, as she shaves her legs and has cut herself a few times which IMO is more painful than the epilator. I'm also currently trying to pluck up the courage to start using it on my bikini area again, I used to years ago, but found it both painful and awkward. I need a new one, so am looking to get one that is designed for the bikini area.I'll have to try Boots and look for the one bootman got, thanks for that

Hi, I used to epilate but always felt waxing gave better results and lasted longer. Santa bought me a waxing kit from Salon Services. I think it cost about £60.00 and it is the same type they used in Salons. Check info on the web too before purchasing.
