Floyd, I'm exactly the same as you- glad to know I'm not alone! Like I said earlier, I'm so pleased with how it's going on body hair, I'm going to have 'moustache and beard' done next. I too think that the end result will be worth the hassle of shaving for a few weeks- like you say, you get less and less hair growing each time you get it done, and the thought of a hairless face at the end of it is just fantastic!0

It didn't work very well for me. I have pale skin and dark natural red hair.
I was warned that it might not work for my colouring. It was provided by the NHS and I think they gave it me free because they wanted to test it out on my colouring.0 -
I've done the same as harryharp - got my 5th session on Monday.
Went to shave my legs in the bath last night but didn't need to - there's nothing there!!!
Other areas are getting there - last time the cheeky therapist told me she was turning the laser down, but actually turned it up!!! As my username suggests, some areas I'm getting done do hurt, but I find a few painkillers and careful breathing makes it bearable (it's about a third more painful than waxing).
And the results are so worth it.

reading this might get my legs done as well!! it's a pain in the bum. i always forget to do it and get caught out!! it would be nice not to worry and £1000 does seem quite good tbh. I would save that ina few years (foam and razors)

I had 6 treatments over two years at Sk:n. I had underarm & bikini treated. I am not completely hairfree but as good as... I no longer get ingrown hair, red blotches and the horrible itchi armpit! It well worth it although it wasnt the most pleasent treatment!
I'd like my legs done but looking for a cheaper way - any more comments on the Rio machine?????? Dont really believe in it as I know that the salon machines need lot of looking after ( checking settings / calibrating ) so I dont see a 'home version' being really good........0 -

I use an epilator for my legs and have done for years - the hair doesnt grow any more except on my knees! I introduced my daughter to the epilator as soon as I realised she was going to shave her legs and, now in her early 20s she hardly gets any growth either. So worth doing if cant afford lasering. My daughter uses it under her arms too with great results but I have never fancied that!0

veryunsure - how did you go about getting on the NHS if you don't mind me asking, there is no way I could afford to pay £1000 for this treatment, and I have so much facial hair, it really gets me down.0
