a type of kit to diy
does anyone know anything about this or used it
it was around the £100 mark so cheaper than skin etc plus do it in privacy of home. but dont know if its any good or effective
has anyone used this or know of it?
    Nice to save.

i've always been aware of women with hairy upper lips.... i've noticed friends having dark stray hairs if they wax and are needing an appointment, i've only bleached and it's ok but i seem to have more hair recently and want to do something about it.
another friend had laser hair removal which was effective but pricey. just interested to see what others do.
    thanks!
  • Veet is my friend. My children are going to put me in a home if my tache scares their kids when I'm older :)

I used Veet but lately am Waxing. Got terrible burns off Veet one day around my lips, which looked obvious.

I also have this problem, having tried all sorts since my teenage years when I was VERY dark to now when I am very grey! The older I have got the coarser the hairs seem to grow. I swear some have migrated from my once luxuriant locks down to my chin as well :eek::eek::eek::eek:. Not only that but they are like broom bristles and rooted to my jaw bone!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I now go every month and have them waxed away resulting in smoother skin and weaker hair growth. It costs about ten pound for lip and chin at a salon or about half of that at a college where students can practice on you.

It does hurt but the stinging soon subsides and the results are WELL worth it.

cold wax strips. i do it myself. you would find if you did this it only need to do it once in a while.
  • I always wondered how men who have sex changes get round this as they often look smoother in the bearded region than me ! i want the tablets that they have.

I've bleached mine for years! Tried waxing it myself and it whilst it removed the hair, my skin broke out in tiny little spots that made it really obvious that I'd been up to something - that wasn't a good look! I would like to try laser removal but the only thing that puts me off is that apparently your skin can redden and I would want to be sure I could use make up to cover that! So, I too would like to hear from anyone who has tried laser treatment...
