wow, a few days off here and Marru goes and ties the knot - huge congratulations to you both

Gemmzie - hugs and positive vibes winging your wau and boo to migraines Igamogam, hope it goes away soon.

Poorly tum in Dora towers so off to docs again next week, had tests but nothing found but still losing/not re-gaining weight - I am unlikely to slip down a drain anytime soon but have been a steady 11 and a half stone for years and now down to 10 stone 6 when dressed and without any real fitness or dieting efforts, so something is definitely not right.

Dora, if docs cannot find anything and you are having more tests, maybe you should ask to be referred to someone more specialist. Or try seeing an alternative therapy person. They may be able to tell you what is wrong. not good about tum.

Tum is our soul to the body. When we are distressed, it is the first organ to get affected.

Well today feels like the first day of the hols for me - last week was the 2 day migraine followed by the 3 days away and recovery of trip to DD1 graduation ceremony - very moving and thought provoking!
So what have I done so far today...........managed a half asleep goodbye to OH as left for work then stayed in bed with breakfast to watch Heir Hunters and HUTH - it just served to remind me daytime TV is truly awful;) Now slowly formulating a plan for rest of hols really..............first a trip to town as both DDs need passports sorting and collect rail tickets for DD1 then some serious housework and declutter and maybe a nice lunch thrown in somewhere with the DDs........... then a plan. Honest!

Hugs to anyone who needs them.
    Marru: Many congratulations to you:beer:
Dora: Get a 2nd opinion - tum troubles are not good.

Horace: Wow! To tray cloths - I love tray cloths and embroidered things are so special. Many years ago I got my Mum to embroider me a tablecloth, whilst she still could. Now she's not here its even more special.
My great Grandmother was the embroderer for York minster!
Sound like your making your house into a lovely home.

My SIL is into the 3rd week of chemo and so far is doing well:j.

I am just plodding along and trying to get my head above water. House and everything still a bit negleted but will get there eventually.

Tum seems much better today, maybe it's because I can eat and drink when I want rather than at set times for a change - food diary is under way to see if I can spot any patterns cos there doesn't seem to be any one thing particularly causing it.

Glad you are feeling better Igamogam - off to write my summer hols plans tonight too :)

Igamagram- don't like much daytime tv but Heirhunters and HUTH are guilty pleasures, though the woman on HUTH drives me mad.
Day 3 of good weather! What a shock. Some of our veg seems to be starting to pick up at last.
Nice to be able to spend more time outside, so not sure yet what plans are for today

Just been organising DD1 with her trip to Olympics - they have tickets for a 9 am session and have to be there at least 2 hours before event in order to get though security and allow half hour from gate to venue in the park...........means a 5 am bus for them:eek: At least all the transport is free:)
