    Anybody else being sucked into Olympics?? I am quite enthralled with it all :)We are not great participants in well not at a serious competative level - we cycle swim and DDs take part in rugby,trampolining and netball etc OH takes part in extreme sports but I enjoy watchung top level stuff:) Mens gymnastics tonight absolutely fab.

    We are off to watch some events next week and TBH I was getting to the point of Olympic fatigue a few weeks ago but now getting a bit excited:j:j DD1 has already made a visit on first day and reports back that Olympic park is quite an experience and sensible shoes a must:)

    We are well and truly sucked in already - kids have been oohing and aaahing over the gymnastics today and ladies weightlifting and we have made GB signs for them to wave at anyone competing for us. Can't see us getting out and about much for the net couple of weeks now!

    I am enjoying it too and I love that my daughter has really got into it as well. Shame our medal haul hasn't been a bit better but there is still time :cool:

    Maybe some medals will come GBs way in the rowing and the cycling today.................but isnt it about the taking part;) Not if you are a certain ladies gymnast team who got silver yesterday!

    Olympics is over now though so we can talk again without being interrupted by gold medals lol!

    Very weird not spending half of day 'checking in' on the gold rush

    Have been decluttering chez Dora to the benefit of the local charity shops and tip and I now have a boudoir (blushes) rather than a hovel (also blushes) Still got to tackle the major room of doom which belongs to a ten year old girl - might need a hazchem suit and a strong coffee before I brave that though.
