I am lurking but bit busy with stuff to sort out. We are off for hols on Monday and I have an itinnery long as my arm so I don't know how relaxing it will be. However I have reconnected with couple of old friends (I have known them since we all were 15) and will visit them which will be fabulous!!! :j

I have completely lost the momentum for the big declutter. A kick up the bum would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps 15 minutes at a time and one room per day approach would work. Especially as I know the most of the stuff has already been dealt with.

Sorry not been around much - I have been busy with the garden etc. Also the black dog of depression has been hanging about so I havent felt like posting.

Just a tip for those that live on the southside of brum a new shop has opened up in Rubery which describes itself as an old fashioned haberdashery which sells wool from around the world including wool for felting, materials, patches for patchwork, needles, patterns and threads. They will be doing some courses in the Autumn on rug making, lace making (with bobbins), how to knit, how to sew etc. etc.

Marru - decluttering takes time - I am still unpacking boxes after my move. Take it easy and don't be so hard on yourself you have had a lot on your plate lately with relocations and weddings etc.

Declutter and sort out................my constant millstone :( Whilst marathon was on me and DD2 decided to tackle our respective bedrooms - appealed to competative nature of DD2. So we set timer for 2hrs 6 mins ( a record time I believe for a marathon!) and set to and although me made headway we didnt really finish entirely:eek: So all this declutter malarky is definately a 'marathon and not a sprint' ;)

Today is dining room - have taken before picture as a motivator!

Another one de-cluttering here. Only problem is I swear as soon as its been removed it seems to magically generate a replacement bit!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Horace: Hope you are feeling a bit better. Don't try to everything all at once.

Off now to source curtain fabric for our hall and curtains for the living room. Major works loomimng and loads of decorating:eek: best get the frugal habits again.

Not got going today at all - our boudoir is still clean and tidy but the rest of the house has started its rapid decline into chaos again -aaaaaaargh

Dd has begged for pancakes for tea so am going to do 15 min splurges on different areas for the evening as well as squeeze in a walk once it is cooler.
