No big changes for me, I am just plodding along enjoying reading everyone's posts :(

I am off on holiday today until Friday. I am packed and ready but my daughter is still in bed!

We have to take our cat to the cattery and I am dreading it, it makes me so sad and we both admitted last night that is the reason neither of us have been looking forward to going on holiday because we know how upset we are going to be - and to think this time last year I didn't even like cats! Now I am besotted with this one........

Plodding is definitely allowed, as are holidays and just think how many cuddles you'll get when you pick the cat up.

Igamogam - one week left - we have two but this week is all productions so no 'real' work (don't tell Mr Gove) What new excitements have you got planned?

OMG please somebody turn the clock forward and tell me that it is all ok.

I am in the middle of giving away/selling my stuff. Funny enough that doesn't bother me. Rather fantastic feeling actually. To be rid of the stuff that anchors me down and not in a nice rooted in the place kind of way.

Ok, I have had a tad too much wine and I am thinking of overdoing it tonight. I have had three people in tonight collecting freecycle stuff and two to collec ebay stuff. And still the chaos remains. I am so looking forward to having all my (and DD's) earthly goods in one room in neat boxes ready to go. WHERE?

DD was with ex this weekend and of course the cat is out of the bag. We want to go to Finland. Now he has said to DD that they will get married too and they will move to Finland too. Really???!!! But then when my solicitor called him today he is going to come to the court on Wednesday (10.30 onwards any time really) and he is going to contest my application and he will apply for more time. Councellor is saying that there are likely to be yet ANOTHER round of Cafcass reports. This all takes TIME. Baring in mind that I should start my new job in 23 days of time, time is not that I have abundance of.

I shall be homeless in the end of the month. HTB will be broke after all the solicitor's fees. Luckily I am not going to be jobless and we do have a campervan and it is summer. Hey ho!! It is lovely way to start married life first time in your life at 43 after you have made a pretty much a mess of your life.

When I am old and fragile I am writing a book: "LIFE, how not to do it!" At least I am trying to write off the last ten years (apart from having DD) and make a fresh start now. Sadly it is in the hands of the British legal system. Sigh!!!

Ok, I promise I will try stay away from here when under influence so please do excuse me this time. :o

Marru: Hugs for you and under the circumstances I think you are allowed to indulge! Hope this isn't going to cause you loads of delays and that your ex is jsut playing mind games. Big HUGS.

    Horace:
Glad the move went well and:jto vendors leaving terracotta pots and lawn mowers - every little helps.

    Dora:
Hope you can soon start to feel better and roll on the holidays - hopefully then when you can relax a bit you'll pick up.

Still need to get my finaces sorted out and am finding that difficult as I still haven't been paid for my holiday week, 3 weeks ago. I can't really chase it up as boss lady has never actually said that she will pay holiday pay - just has for the last 3 years, usually well after the event. She did once say that if I had a 3rd week as holiday that that wouldn't be paid:mad:
Onwards and upwards. Got to do some maths homework this afternoon prior to my lesson tonight.

News was not good - well not in my favour.Long story - too long for here. I am not leaving MSE! Its almost 12 months since I started posting on the forums so I think its time for a review of the whole situation - life the universe and everything - you know small stuff:rotfl: But first to get to the end of the week, then daughters graduation then trip to London for Olyimpics and then some breathing space by which time it will almost be time to start again in Spetember with new colleagues and new challenges which are about 3 feet tall:rotfl:

Sorry for the outburst. I am not a very happy bunny at the moment. The sordid details in my diary. However things need doing so one foot in front of the other and then repeat...
