You have to provide all the details and in's and out's of your income and expenditure to them and they will put the figures down on the form. That it is it. You might as well do it yourself if you have to get the details anyway.
Why would the OR 'sting' you?
Read the sticky I posted for you. Read as many threads as possible. Ring 1 or 2 of the debt charities. Ask questions. Read. Post. Read and post.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Is there any letters that will be sent to my creditors prior? I just woerry if debt collectors come knocking considering im now living at my Girlfriends house I worry bout Baliffs coming around when it has nothing to do with her.
Don't alert creditors to your intentions just gives them a chance to up the hassle factor before you go BR in the hope to get something out of you.
Debt collectors have no bite. They have as many rights to knock on your door as the paper boy ie: none. If some says they are going to send some one post on here and someone will advise you. Just tell them to go away as you are taking advise from xxxx debt charity and some one will be in touch soon.
You won't get bailiffs unless you default on a CCJ. Have you a CCJ? If not don't worrry. If a company says they are getting one then post on here for help.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
I did my forms with someone from CAB, didn't cost me a penny. I could have done them on my own though, but was reassured to have someone beside me who could help me whizz through it."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0

I do have a CCJ and already not paid for 1 month, it is joint with an ex and as it stands they have her address but only I pay for it.
I have done a test from one of the links at the top and awaiting a call back.0 -
I agree, do not pay anyone to do it for you, CAB can help you all the way, I did my and my hubbies, its a complete rip of.0

Honestly, you dont need to pay someone to do it for you, all that means is that it will take you longer to get all the fees together and if you already have a CCJ then you want to be doingit as quickly as possible, anyone you pay cant stop the CCJ.
Have a go at the forms one section at a time, the first section is just about your name, your address ,tel number etc and im sure you already know that stuffHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Have a look at the examples below, these helped me when filling my forms in.
Example completed forms and guidance notes:-- Debtor's Bankruptcy Petition 6.27 Example (Thanks to NE Derbyshire CAB)
- You may find it helpful to look at the Example for completing a bankruptcy petition form 6.27 (DOC, 56 Kb) and the Guidance Notes (DOC, 73 Kb) for completing Form 6.28.

agree those examples were great and enabled me to do my forms myself. You need to read all the information you can and if you do still intend to go BR then have to understand it is a process that has to be followed. Loads of help out there and support on these boards.
Freshstart understand it is scary but once you have sought proper advice, make a decision and start the forms, book court date it all does fall into place. Good luck0 -
My heads completely messed up, can some one provide me with the link for the forms I need0
