Thanks very much, Little Miss :) Great list, with lots of ideas - I'll be having a thorough look through and seeing what I can do!

  • Thanks for the list Little Miss, will print it off & use when I'm stuck for ideas!

I have another 11% to add please so new total is 40%

It's come from 10% money owed from a family member for DS1's birthday gift
1% from taking school uniform back to Marks & re buying with a 10% off code & using TCB & also returning an impulse buy top I bought, I figure the more stuff you have, the bigger the ironing pile could become!

Keep up the good work %ers! :-)

Thanks for reminding me, I went to take a look last week just as the programme was ending and could get on as every other Super Scrimper in the country was trying it too!
    Thank you competition posters!

The 100 ideas list is really good -it's given me the enthusiasm to start another ebay/car boot stash of unwanted items. Sould end up with another £80 eventually.
1 Question I have (maybe for little miss..?) - is there a way to make money from a website? I had an idea for a reference book but I doubt if I would ever have the wherewithal to find an gent/publisher etc so I was wondering about creating a website with the same information on it but it's not worth my time at the moment if I don't get anything back (sorry if that sounds very materialistic/capitalist or something). You wouldn't be able to charge a subscription fee or anything so the revenue would have to come from advertising or something I suppose.... Not sure if it's worth purchasing or not. OH suggested writing it as an ebook but I'm not convinced there would be a market as an ebook rather than a regular book.....

    Very quiet on here today!

Well I've been out all day to 2 kids parties. Spent £4.65 on food at the first one (soft play) and just the petrol to get to the other, about 10 miles away so very pleased!

Most of my eBay items end this weekend. Most haven't got bids but a few do so we will see how we go! I need to package up my other sales and get them posted tomorrow, been a bit slow! Also need to order tesco delivery for Monday morning as forgot the other day (sainsburys round the corner is handy but expensive but refuse to pay £6 delivery for tomorrow :D )

We are out hopefully, tomorrow evening, courtesy of husbands boss, meal and a stay over at our favourite inn. Got sitter sorted we just need to book it now. Fine food, 0 cost :T and will be lovely to have a night away, even if it is only 7 miles down the road :rotfl:

Well the weather is dry here which means the car boot sale is a go! Just as well really as everything is lined up in the hall ready to load into the car and being as I have a friend staying over tonight there's no way it can all go back in the spare room! I would be happy to make £50 today but hopefully it will be a bit more if some of the bigger items sell.

Now just need to eject teenage son from his pit and we can get going!
