silly question time> I have been sent my Te$co club points and I have the huge sum of 2.50 (woo flipping hoo) if I don't use them do I loose them all together or can they roll over till I have say a tenner that can be used when I have visitors or Christmas when I will benefit a bit more from them. I use the place so infrequently and tend to only go in for yellow sticker stuff. the only reason it is so high is because a friend of mine used my card when she was buying some clothing last month.

They do have an expiry but im sure you will be fine until Christmas, they will roll over and then if the exchange is on you can get even more goodies for your money (vouchers!)

415 - why not check out Ebay to get a feel for what items are seling for.
Personally I alway PRICE tagged my iteMs when doing boot sales - bUt loads of people expect everyone to ask.
Personally if it doesn't have a price on it I'd rather not bother - but others feel differently.

I have been looking on ebay and got a good idea of prices for some of the stuff, I am stuck with the more obscure stuff that my late Father used to collect.
He used to collect any china that was mmm non PC shall we say. Like a Lucy Attwell water jug with a picture of a golly foxhunting! It's in really good condition not a mark or blemish on it, and it is dated 1902. So that and things like it would be a love or hate thing.

I will be pricing things though as if it was me looking I would not want to keep asking the price of things that I liked, also if I feel that I have over priced on some thing I can always go down a little and people with think they are getting a deal.

And old postcards that were more than a little rude to say the least!
someone mentioned reading whils't there funny bit we have 2 village pubs and in one of them the Landlord is always reading a book and I feel like I am getting in the way as he slams his book down, I have stopped going in because of that and his attitude.
    Ebay 13 ;)........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50
    Amazon 14.......4/50 Etsy14............46/75. Ebay........23/200
  • 415 - Sounds like you would be better getting your things valued by an auction house. They sound too valuable for car boot. You might be losing out.
  • Found 40p in loose change in a pot in the kitchen. Gna hide it in a pot upstairs with the rest of my %.
It's in my craft room so DH is never in there to 'borrow' the odd tenner....

  • Morning everyone,

Found the other mobile phone so that's another potential £20-£25 coming my way! Woohoo.....

I should get paid on Friday as well from my hospital admin job, although I've not been able to work this week as got no child care (mum is on holiday), but we're looking after their dog and they usually pay me what I'd lose in wages for watching the dog, so I could maybe siphon off 1% before paying it in the bank xx

Planning a no spend day today, just got to nip out to post box and that's it. Be entertaining dog and toddler the rest of the day. Have a great one everybody xx

Where's the best place to sell old unwanted mobiles please? I've got about 4 (none of them will be worth much as they're quite basic :( -but it all helps :) )

BTW my 1% is £141 as I notice that on 1st page there is a question mark for my % :)
