Hello, No 17 here again.
Well I have just finished another weekend of craft fairs and made £232 to add to the pot.
I also sold an item to a friend on Friday which adds a further £4 and found some lottery tickets and scratchcards lying around the house which I checked and cashed in which added a further £10 to the pot.
So tomorrow morning first thing I will be paying £246 into the svings account (which equates to another 8% of my total). Wahoo :jMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Hi, I'm a bit slow (as it is August!) but I want to pay off my CC bill which has been bugging me for ages.
My 1% is £48. I am also pregnant so if I can pay it off sooner rather than later then that will help with having extra money when the baby arrives (Mid March sometime!)
I have a ton of books that I can sell. I see that Amazon and Green Metropolis are quite good. Do people just sell for £3.75 generally?Former Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!0 -
Bad week for me! Went away for a few days to the lake district so spent more than I saved!
On the plus side I meal planned for the week and am using up everything in the freezer which adds £16 to the pot (equates to another 1.3%).
I have loads to eBay and want to do some dooyoo reviews to earn points for buying birthday presents but all I have done for the past week is breast feed my baby every hour (sorry- this is probably TMI!!)Barclaycard 50/2328

Did my first car boot sale today and after paying for the pitch, buying a table as couldn't manage to borrow one & buying a clothes rail I made £90. I was really pleased but it would have been £110 if I hadn't needed the 'equipment' figured I'd do them regularly and could always sell on afterwards. Before I'd have just bought the gear without a second thought, so making progress changing my mindset!
Anyway another 9% to add so now on 29%
I've a load of stuff that didn't sell so debating to eBay or green metropolis it or hang on to it for another boot sale! If only I had a garage to store it all in!0 -

Hi folks - sorry but there is too much for me to be able to catch up on since I was last here (3 weeks ago!). Well done to all who are progressing. Nothing extra here yet but hopefully will have at least 1% more by end of the month.... My progress will probably be a bit slow until I'm working again....1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I was on mse, and it's showing! My debt is still at the same level as it was a year ago so I need a right kick up the behind to get rid of it once & for all so I can get on with my life the way I really want to.
LittleMiss, you're 1% idea is right up my street! Little chunks will mean a greater feeling of achievement rather than looking at the whole lot and getting down about it.
I'm in! Going to set my 1% for just my hbos cc though which will mean a 1% of £50
I've managed to list a pile of stuff on ebay tonight, so I'm going to go sit down, dig out the notebook, and get scribbling down my ideas for making these percents

After a successful weekend of eBay sales and one local sale I have made £47. Plus more to add to that total as some buyers not paid yet and I have more items to go. Next weekend I have a car-boot sale planned so hopefully that total will rise.
For now I am on 3%.:T0 -
I listed 51 things on eBay this weekend; had a play around increasing some starting bids but offering free post so we shall see how they do! XDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022

Happytails, did you get charged any listing fees? I started to list some stuff last night & it told me the listing fee, usually when it's a free listing weekend it says free, you know on the final bit where you confirm the listing& accept the listing fee?
Needless to say I got in a strop, threw my toys out the pram & did my Music Magpie stuff instead!
Are the free listing weekends open to all, except eBay shops?
Thanks!0
