Ive listed 24 things so far today: aiming for 6 more things today. Got more to list tomorrow incl my double buggy which I'm starting at £75 Fred post and packaging. Hoping to get a few bids, would be thrilled if I get £100 for it, listing it at 8pm tomorrow to maximize chance of best price next Sunday :)

Need to print off my music magpie labels and get the stuff in the post monday. Also need to get my airer back on the lawn so I can use my dryer less! reminds me, I need to submit my gas and elec readings...tomorrows job :)

    Hi

Can I join this challenge please. My debt is now sitting at £2975 but I want to base my 1% challenge on £1100. I have normal monthly repayments going out which covers the other £1875 so it's the £1100 that I have to find to make myself debt free by the end of 2012. So my 1% target is £11.

    I hope this makes sense:D
  • Ebay seems rather slow lately. Wonder is it because of the Olympics? Hopefully it will pick up, however it has shown me that I can't just rely on ebay to make my millions. Need to get my thinking cap on!

Whoo, I've checked my store loyalty points cards and have enough on them for 2%! I'll set the money aside and use the loyalty points in their place! That's still only 3% total, but it's still better than nothing :D

    Now to find other possibilities...

  • Morning all,

I was also thinking Ebay seems slow at the moment - maybe people are away on their summer holidays? Hopefully will pick up soon!!
Other than that not much going on here - am making jewellery but not sure whether I will be able to sell it - my husband is rolling his eyes at my latest venture!!
    Happy money making all!!

Have taken pics of some items for Ebay but what I have listed is hardly going so I am going to wait until after the hols and people more inclined to buy before Christmas.
Not got anything special to go though-just some ornaments, wooden fruit etc - stuff I have collected and now can get rid of - hopefully.

Ebay is driving me nuts just now. I have loads of NWT items that I have bought over the years, never got round to wearing or selling on but I am stuck with not being able to list more than 10 branded items in a month which is defeating the point of free listing weekends. Rant over!

I have got a few things listed but mainly things that didn't sell the last time. It will be a flipping miracle if I even make 1% at this rate never mind 100%

Why can't you list more than 10 branded items a month?? Not heard this before.

Squeeeeeee! I've got enough for a full percent in paypal (more than enough :D) and have withdrawn that. Won't colour in the square until I can officially transfer it though, but hopefully should be up to 20% by Thursday! So very excited :)

I think I've sold the majority of the good craft stuff I have here now. I do have a mountain of bits at my Mum's, and as it was my Dad's birthday yesterday and I was over there I took the opportunity to clear a drawer out - nothing special but found three razors (good as I've just run out), some nice lingerie that I paid a lot of money a few years ago and should still fit me, some white card that I'll put into my niece's Chrimbo present (making her a craft chest) and some other bits and bobs that have been sorted and put away. I'm really thinking a car boot sale may be the way to go with the bits and bobs that are cycling around ebay without much interest. Even if I only get 10p each for them, it's better than them sitting in my craft box gathering dust and getting in the way. I'm getting rid of my Maplin drawers as well - won't need them and if I do start up my bead business they will be too small anyway. Got an Avon bonus box that can go to ebay too - was kidding myself that I would use the stuff in there but I'm not the makeup sort of girl. I have a few tried and tested favourites for evenings out but they only occur a couple of times a year! again even if I only get 10p for each thing that's £5 more than I've got now :) Tempted to go back to Mum's tomorrow night and do some sorting out and see if I can find enough *cough* treasures *cough* for a car boot in the next couple of weeks.

Hoping my last three ebay sales pay up so I can get it all out of the way in one sorting office trip :)

It won't let me list them, says its a violation. I read the reasons why at the time and it was partly to do with having positive feedback as a seller. I don't sell enough to keep the seller stars going but only have branded NWT items to sell. They are a shameful reminder of my shopaholic past and unfortunately I was thinner then so none of it fits or I would just wear it all.
