So, I've been following this and think its a great idea. I'm going to try and 'earn' 10% through ebay this week. I've got a lot of stuff I can list and if its just 100 things at £1-2 that go I'll have got my 10% and a clearer flat! Free listings is a great motivator![STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

I have just had a thought.
For the people that have a small amount but it is really high interest like, the BNPL Very springs to mind.
Could you get a loan from the Credit Union and pay it off, then pay back the credit Union at a reasonable rate of interest?
When I have needed a loan it has always been through CU the last on was for 300 GBP and I think I paid back 325.
Could save a few %s there.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Im going to get Life insurance sorted today, i know its an extra cost but with 3rd baby on the way we really cold do with a little protection just to cover the mortgage at least especially whilst we have alot of debt and no savings.
I was going to trade in my DVDs with music magpie but TBH i may try listing on Ebay this weekend first.
Kids went up a full shoe size since last fitting so we bought them a cheap pair of doodles each from Clarks yesterday as i was literally cramming them into there smaller shoesSo i need to get those sold to recoup the money for the new ones. so £18 i need to make atleast. Anything after that i can put into my 1% for the CC
Going to make a list of essential store cupboard stuff (Thanks Oldstyle board) to keep incase we run out of money towards month end/or we can have 1 or 2 makeshift meals a week out of what we have in to save on our shopping. It will all be value/basics stuff. Im thinking Beans, Soup, Chopped Tomatoes (to make sauce as we always have pasta), Rice, bit of tinned Veg, Tuna (again can go with pasta/rice etc), Corned beef. Anything else? Uht milk i think too. We have eggs available from our chooks and ducks for protein so thats goodI could manage 8/9 days between shops this way rather than 7 days. so less temptation being at the shop could save a few bob.

I'm always looking for cheaper credit deals. At the moment I've got everything on 0% except Wifey's Halifax which is about to come off so applying for another 0% BT card.
I've just signed up to Slice the Pie since I listen to music everyday at work I might as well get paid for it! It will take a long time to build up to a 1% but it will contribute!Total Credit Card Debt - £6,108/£7,079 (0% until April 2013)

I buy value cartons of passatta to make pasta sauces, think the MrA's one is 29p, cheaper than a tin of chopped tomsCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
If you have 10 things that will "take a while to earn 1%" at the end of say a year that is an extra 10%, at the moment I have a few slow movers but they will all add up.
1 monthly interest on savings.
2 cash back amounts
3 Surveys
4 Any change from 50 GBP when filling the car. (that's becoming a joke at the moment, I got a whole 1.73 last week)
5 emptying my purse at the end of the week.
6 Finding free parking (saving 1.50 an HOUR) people are very good at giving you a ticket that has about an hour on it around here since the prices went silly!
I'm going up to Asda today to cash in my copper, might just get my next 1% from there, I have a full baby formula tin and it's heavy so a good bit in it.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Diet Coke is 3 for £1 in poundland and Pepsi is 4 for £1.
I buy from here and take them to work and only ever buy the big bottles for the fridge when they are BOGOF or £1 a bottle.
You can normally find the big bottles in a 99p store as well for when they are not on offer at the big supermarkets.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid
