Well i just worked out if we keep on top of our CC we will be clear of it AND our 2700 overdraft by august 2013 :j and then clear our loan (will be £12500 by then) in another 16 months!! So in Feb 2015 we will be DEBT FREE, except for the mortgage!! Which i estimated a MF date of Aug 2024 (instead of our original 2044!!
Feeling very positive but just depends if we can earn/save an extra £500 a month every month for 12 years :rotfl: I think we can with some tweaking and some hard work! looks like i best call off next years florida holiday
So far weve paid about 10% off our total, and hope to pay a further 2.5% by the end of the month! First month going to always be the highest etc whilst we bulk sell/trade alot of stuff. September and November/December will be hard as Sept ive got a hen do away for the night so thats going to be near £100 for that weekend. November we have the baby due and a Wedding where i am bridesmaid. DH will need a new suit or his old one taking in and kids need outfits. We need to gift money (£25) and December is always fun with Xmas, 5 birthdays in a week and my sons 2nd birthday lol so may flag a bit those months but hopefully with our good start it should even out :T

Unfortunately.... I have stupidly sensitive tastebuds when it comes to Coke. I can even blind taste between Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero! I have complained to restaurants before when they advertise Coke but it's actually Pepsi that comes out. My friends think it's mental that I can tell from the smell the difference between Coke and Pepsi! I guess it's my party trick except I cannot market it! hahhaa.
But I shall trundle down to Lidl, it's only 5 min walk away, and give their coke a try in the name of MoneySaving!
With me it's diet coke by the bucket load. No other cola would do however I found tesco's own diet cola not too bad as a substitute. Keeping up with coca cola prices are a joke when you drink as much as I do:eek:Waste not, want not!

Evening all!
I'm re-writing a letter to my bank to reclaim some bank charges and a few PPI premiums back. That could be a few percent in the next few months!
It feels good that it's payday tomorrow and I can make another little dent in my debt pile!
Just tried to check my balance as pay should have gone in now but tried both mobile app and online banking and both say unavailable!!!
After all the trouble with Natwest the other week it seems they're having issues again!!!
Hopefully will do a little round up post tomorrow to give my weekly % totals0 -

I'm with you all on the coke thing! Have managed to get DH on to tesco own brand 500ml bottles for taking to work but I have to have Coke zero! Always look for it on offer and I find it works out cheaper to buy cans instead of big bottles, that way I have 1 can (occasionally 2) each day but if I buy 2 litre bottles then I drink each one in a day or 2!!! If things ever get really tight then I know it will be one of the first things to go
But I don't drink tea or coffee so that's how I justify it1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
