Wow so much progress made by everyone, I've only been away a few days! Still on 10% and tbh I'm not sure that will change 'til december when I open the change tin.... In Nov I only have £21 worth of work lined up lol Will take the opportunity to work on my ebooks...

Am still away at the moment and DS2 has given me plenty of puke to clear up in last 24 hours  Also lost my phone which I'm gutted about :( I realised within 10 mins it was gone and can tell you the 10 square metre area of legoland it went missing in so I'm pretty sure that someone found it and kept it or took it from my pocket. In legoland of all places. I feel lost without it and I've lost all my numbers and photos. Feeling very sorry for myself :(

Oh well it's only a phone I suppose...

No 45 back (again) with another 3% in the pipeline.

I've not got it yet :(, but it's nice to know it's on its way.
£78 per month for the next 6 months starting the end of November.
I guess 6 x £78 is more than 3% of my total, but if I include it now the incentive is reduced slightly, so I'm classing it as 3% per month.

i've now got another source of free wood for the fire, so that will make it up to £90 pm saved in total, which is the full 3% per month for the next 6 months.

I've photographed a load more stuff to put on e-bay this week-end (even if it might not be a free listing) as there is a chance of selling it before the next one, and every little will help.

I've signed up for makesellbuy, but not listed anything yet, and trying to get my head round etsy's rules etc, so some of my time will be spent listing and not listing spending.

WOW, I'm SO motivated these days. I wish I could have felt like this years ago and avoided the mess I'd got myself into.

  • Just about to pay off 3.5% and caught myself grumbling that I hadn't made it to 4%.

49.gif Never satisfied am I! :D Told myself to get a grip and that I need to stop over-reaching!

Now I'm just pleased with what I've managed this week. :p

Have hope Liz-Paul - you never know, with it being a family place you have a good chance of getting it back.

My OH got his wallet returned before he had realised it was lost once!

Have you called Legoland and asked if they have a lost property dept?

Here's hoping you get it back!xx
  • Oh dear, just posted off 2 of my textbooks that I sold on Ebay & the postage costs are double what I charged! Ebay only lets you charge up to £4 for books, and just standard they were £8.80 - first class would have been £10!! Think I better just take the rest of them off Ebay now before I lose any more money!! :(

My boyfriend and I have recently sold some on webuybooks.co.uk. They also take DVDs and CDs. Some you only get pennies for, but We had so many it was easier than listing on ebay where they are not guaranteed to sell, plus all the packing up! The postage was free also (or if unable to post they got a courier to pick up).

  • I'm not really going to do this task, but I do like the ideas and inspiration you are giving me for other threads I'm a member of. I hope you don't mind me having an ickle bit of input now and again?

I don't know about anyone else but certainly I need all the help I can get!

Got 0.20% today from my current account bonus but I don't want to count that as it's not a full percentage! Have put some things onto eBay but no takers so far....I can keep trying....
    Thank you competition posters!

  • Hi everybody

Another 4% paid into my mums account last week from ebay sales. Taking me to 6% now.

But I have been busy making a list of things to do.

1 Put an item on fivesquid which I have done.
    2. Scheduled 50 items on ebay yesterday to go live on Sunday.
    3. I have also completed the paperwork with regards to both mine and hubbbies Serps pensions so will see what happens with that. They said it usually takes up to four months.
    4. Iam going to try and list another 50 items today / tomorrow for ebay. I am going through each room it is amazing the junk you find which sells.

    Take care
