I would like to join this challenge please. I have £43,000 in debts but going to tackle one of my credit cards first which should be more manageable.
Please add;

I have just logged my first 10%. Admittedly it was easy because 7% of it was money my mum owed me!! Still, it all counts. Another 3% is an extra months of council tax money that got taken twice and has just been paid back. I have to put an expenses claim in at work and that will be another 4% so ticking away. Unfortunately I am so impatient I just want it gone NOW!!! LOL I know it is not possible but I hate owing money to anyone ! I have updated all my details on school zone so fingers crossed for something there, I also have some eBay money to come in too so maybe by the end of the month I will have paid 20% , maybe even more, depending on how much Christmas eats into it!
Well done everyone0 -

Got my card t&c's in the post today, surprised at how quick they arrived! I *think* they might be renewed/current ones though and not as at the time, need to double check. But that makes me one step closer to putting in a claim for PPI! :j
Not quite related to percenting as it's not included in my breakdown but I've just been checking my accounts and one of my three cc's is now below £4000 for the first time in a very long time, so I'm very pleased
I was silly in the past and had got this one to do a BT from the evil HBOS card, then ended up spending on the HBOS againThe interest is nowhere near as high as the evil card, which is at 29.9%!! and is my focus of 1% Unfortunately I can't get another 0% deal so it's a case of the quicker I can rack up the money to throw at it, the less interest I'm going to pay.
Sorry for the ramble! In actual percent news I've got bids on a faiir few items and watchers on more so I'm hoping for a nice wee bit of cash at the end of this week/start of next. Plus I've more to get on there when I'm not so blooming knackered. The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Ooh this sounds good - count me in!
I currently owe £10,974 so 1%=£110 :-(
I need to think of ways to get that but here's my list so far:
1. Start putting my extra bar job money towards that (currently using it for "lifestyle".... See, to forget that my nice "lifestyle" got me here I the first place and now I'm working 2 jobs!
2. Sell my 3 old phones to mazooma
3. Start selling on e bay
4. Reduce my sky package down ( over 7 months it will give me back my 1% just by taking off my movie package which I never watch as I am always working!)
5. Get involved with NSD woo hoo
I will keep thinking for more.....Started again 25th December 2017

Wow! Lots of new folks - lovely to see!
Just a quick question, as there is lots of crafty, creative folks here I wondered if anyone would be interested in working on a project with me?
I need a particular size/shape bag for work and I can't find one anywhere! It would only need to be small but strong! Plus once I have one, I know a lot of other people would be after one too!
As with any bespoke crafting project I'd cover material/time costs etc. Anyone that is interested or may have any advice drop me a PM!0 -
Afternoon,
Little miss, i would as i love sewing but im very amateur and have no time as it is!! Hopefully someone else would be interested
We've been paid but not sure how much we are going to get to put towards debts just yet. Just gonna plod on ignoring the wage we've got and try to raise/save money other ways for now. Ive got some PP i need to transfer actually, will do that now... £40 transferred to the bank :j not sure which debt it will be going to yet but ive ear-marked it now so it needs to go towards something. (I expect it will be the CC but its not set in stone!)
Im aiming to earn £200 before Xmas on Ebay with my maternity clothes and other bits and bobs. Just need to get this baby out and get everything listed. Downsized my maternity collection last month, so will go through it again next week (hopefully ill have had baby then but seeing as i wont be in my normal clothes ill have to keep some a while. That will be 10% of my overdraft if i manage it
Oooh got £9.11 coming from quidco, first payment, so am i right in thinking its £5 less for the yearly fee? So £4.11?

Hi LittleMiss - I will happily make a bag for you but I have currently broken my seewing machine so cannot use it for the foreseeable future (think I will be without for a month or so whilst being mended) but I'll happily do it for you after this time if its any help. As for money - I think I owe you because of this thread so how about just material costs? Thats as long as you happy to wait a while xxxMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Hi Little Miss
I've sent you a PM regarding the bag request.
Also an update for No 45 and the money making results.
I made another £30 (1%) today selling 2 jewellery sets. It's taking a while to get there, but every little helps.:beer:I divorced my First Husband on Religious Grounds:A
