Hi everyone,
Seems like ages since I had the chance to check in, and catch up with posts. We have finally "finished" moving house (although every room seems to still be in complete jumble!!) Really pleased with how we have behaved, because despite having to pay out lots of extra cash to get cooker connected, organise a new shed etc, we have managed to not get any further in debt (but we have eroded what we had already paid off - not great, but couldn't be avoided.)
New total for me Hanliam # 79 - 4% paid off.
We are a lot more tight on money now as husband is back to looking for self employed work and we are paying rent and bills again (previously he worked in exchange for free rent and bills.)
I'm going for a short term project job at work which would mean a £6K payrise for 12 months - fingers crossed as this would really help us to start making big in-roads into the debt again. However, now we have moved, despite having a massive ebay clear-out before we moved, I have found some more "stuff" we can get rid of so will be EBAY listing like crazy.
Thanks for keeping me focussed, and wishing you all a good month,

Hi all,
Well done everyone with all your progress %'s and a big hello to all our newbies - if this thread helps you as much as it has me then you will be at your 100% before you know it.
A quick update from me - I managed to make £29 profit from the craft fair at the weekend - it was really quiet but the weather was awful so that probably helped to keep people away. I have also been paid £50 for my local directory deliveries I do every other month so I have just paid this in so can now declare:-

Wahoo -I'm over a quarter of the way there on my second target :j:j
I've also got four craft fairs booked in for this week (one each on Thursday, Friday, Sat & Sun) so hopefully I should get a few more percentages from them - I'm hoping to get 5% in total from these. If I can earn more then thats an added bonus.
I also think that I should get paid for most of the mystery shopping I have carried out recently which are ok for payment (now totaling £51). I also have £24 waiting to be confirmed and jobs waiting to be carried out which add up to £33. So once these have all been paid there is 5% there.

Hi Ellesbelles
How often do you get surveys from Schoolzone? I have just registered but heard nothing. Tried to get into mystery shopping but heard nothing back from there either
. Getting a bit of a complex!!
Bet you are glad you were in NY last week instead of this!!0 -

Hi happytails. I have done a few mystery shops in the past and unless you can guarantee absolute silence (or nap times if they are really little) from your little ones, I would advise against taking them with you. There is such a lot of information you have to absorb regarding each venue you visit, and then remember all that information to be able to input into the online questionnaire when you arrive home, it really needs you to be absolutely alert and on your toes. Some questions require more than yes or no answers and they will ask you to explain your reasons for most answers. If they feel you haven't completed the mystery shop properly, they have the right to refuse payment.
That said, I actually enjoy doing them and have never had a payment withheld, however, I do need a clear and quiet mind to do it and I know my 2 little darlings would not give me a moment's peace, so I fit mine in whilst they are at school.
Hope this helps
