Sorry to be a bit thick but how do you know how much is fees? I listed on a free listing day but do you still get charged a final value fee? And how much are PayPal fees? Sorry!0

Hey hope everyone has had a good weekend.
Been away for a job interview in Leeds/Bradford and thought i would stay with my friend who lives there while im at it. Fingers crossed ill hear back tomorrow. Stuck to my budget of £50 for all the drinks/travel/food so quite happy with that. Think it will be less than that as i can get some back from expenses from the job interview
Was pay day on Thursday so I am now on 42%, paying my overdraft faster than my friend who is earning 4x the amount i am at the moment!!! Trying to stick to uping my income as much as possible but i think i need to give it a little boost. My sister has said I can sell her textbooks and split the takings with her so that might be my next avenue. Been xmas shopping on her as I thought if i start early i can keep my eyes out for some bargains, and its worked

Wow - had some great sales today on ebay - £150 give or take a pound or two. That figure also takes fees into account too
I don't think I would have got around to this if this thread hadn't been in the weekly email for me to discover - big thanks!

You get a final value fee regardless of free listing and the fee is around 10% of the final value. I think it varies depending upon what is sold but the info is on ebay somewherefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Wow, some great totals and %'s being added! Well done everyone! And a warm welcome to everyone joining in too, I hope you find working in %'s easier like I do
No percents to add from me today, but I'm laying the groundwork. Still listing away & re-listing on ebay, I've another 12 new listings ready to go tomorrow once I've weighed them so I get the p&p right
Thanks to this thread I've sat down and done my first ever budget! Normally I look at my bank account once everything's out at the start of the month, spend like there's no worries at all, and then am scrimping by the end of the month. This will be no more!
I've also drawn up a weeks meal plan for my lunches. I'm spending a fortune on food and fizzy juice by nipping to the shop down the road, so I've got a nice varied range of hot lunches planned for next week, all to be made from stuff that I've got in already.
Now the task of just sticking to it!!The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Hello
Progress has been slow due to work then a blow out trip to NYC last week in half term! But I have now set up a bank account just for this challenge (Reg saver so can transfer across everything I make that is extra).
This month got some survey money from Schoolzone, music tuition money, amazon money - this takes me up to... 8%! Next month should get 2% from music tuition alone so that can be transferred straight across.
Keep up the good work y'all! x
Happytails, hope all goes well with the arrival of number 3:rotfl:0
