Hi, just wondering if someone can help me.

I had my claim approved in March, stayed in my hotel in london in April, (last night of accomodation 25th April).

The email approving my claim said £900 would be refunded to my credit card within 28 days of my stay. That time is now up, and no refund has been made. I think most people had their refunds almost immediately after their stay.

Now their terms say refunds within 180 days I think. Should they honour the 28 days that was in the terms and conditions when I made my booking.

    Thanks for your help.

    John
You probably wont see NADA on your CC until 25th May.
Im waiting on 2 and phoned them. They are sticking stricktly to original 30 day policy.
Im sure when I booked it said 7, Ill give them 30 days netherless before the mother of all lawsuits hails down on their battered heads

I have spoken to my CC provider.
They tell me if theres any hassle, they will take up the complaint as I have proof of their refund promise.
I must add, at the moment, in my case EJH are still within their 30 days grace so it may not be neccessary for me to shut them down;) however, troops are assembling on the border as we speak, just in case:D

Im pretty sure Holiday nights charge a CC fee but no fee for debit cards. To make it the same you would maybe have to book easyjethotels with a debit card.

no because you pay at the hotel.

    and again
I have checked the website https://www.diytravel.com and have verified that your 'Double-Price Guaranteed'
claim is valid as per our Terms and Conditions.

The sum of £852.40 will be credited to your credit card
account approximately 5 working days after the end of your stay at the Hotel Eurostars Gaudi.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What date did you book that Tom ?

After not recieving my £900 refund, and 30 days passing after my completion of stay, I sent three emails to hotelopia with no response.

I telephoned today and was told that their terms and conditions had changed and I would recieve my refund within 180 days not 30 days.

I explained that the T&Cs when I booked stated 30 days, to which she replied that ther T&Cs also stated that the T&Cs could be changed at any time!!!

I then told her that they sent me an email stating my refund would be 30 days, and they can't just change their minds, and if I had known they might not honour their T&Cs and emails I would have cancelled the booking and booked elsewhere at £450 cheaper.

Then she said she had noticed that my refund was actually done on friday 25th May, and would take upto 7 days to show on my card. Thats more like it.

It seems my refund is on its way, but would they be allowed to make you adhere to different (later) T&Cs than the ones in place when you booked.

    Hope that makes sense.

    John
