I know that the T&C's have changed, so can someone catagorically tell me what exactly counts now as "...not located where easyJet Airline currently operates..."?

For example, under the previous terms, we've had a valid claim for a night in Rouen - found under the drop-down list associated with Paris airports. Would this still be valid, as they don't actually fly to Rouen itself?

Similarly, under Belfast International airport, the drop-down includes all places in the Republic of Ireland, so does that make them valid, if all other conditions are satisfied?

    Thanks for any enlighenment!

Edit note: This DTD refund & 2 others, just 1-2 nighters = £261.08 to add to the total.

    Hi everyone

I want to book NH Dusseldorf for 4 nights (28th of June onwards)with for my mom and dad who are OAPs. They are staying for 4 nights and I was thinking I could book two days on their behalf and my sister who has a different name and address could book the other two days.
    the first two days:
I have found it cheaper with alpharooms 115.96 double/twin with FULL Breakfast.
With easy jet it is 207.
    The second two days
    Alpha rooms is 115.96
    easy jet is 169

Do you think we have a chance?
But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more

I don't think Easyjet fly to Dusseldorf so no you've got no chance.

No, but they fly to Dortmund, & Dusseldorf is in the drop-down list below it, which repeats my question in post no. 793 - claims like these were successful previously; can someone point out how the terms have changed to invalidate them now? It says 'where easyJet Airline currently operates' not 'fly to', & it could be argued that by linking the other towns to the destination airport, it is saying it operates there.

HI Barter, unfortunately now the terms mean exactly what it says, if Easyjet doesn't fly to the city/town then your claim will not be honoured, no matter you can find it in the drop down list or not, sorry for the bad news.

Hi, just wondering if someone can help me.

I had my claim approved in March, stayed in my hotel in london in April, (last night of accomodation 25th April).

The email approving my claim said £900 would be refunded to my credit card within 28 days of my stay. That time is now up, and no refund has been made. I think most people had their refunds almost immediately after their stay.

Now their terms say refunds within 180 days I think. Should they honour the 28 days that was in the terms and conditions when I made my booking.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi John,

As your claim was made prior to the change in t & c's, they should have refunded you within 28 days.

Give them a call and let us know what they say x

Copied from my email just before the T&C's changed:

"The sum ... will be credited to your credit card account approximately 5 working days after the end of your stay at the Hotel..."
